For those looking for a good vet, I definitely recommend Just Cats. Really good staff, great vets, and super patient with him despite his hatred of them.  He is really feisty at the vet and some vets get scared of that—and as you can imagine, that doesn’t end well. These vets are excellent at dealing with him he’s a meanie so I especially appreciate their patience with me and him, and take great care and patience when handling him.  A friend who works at another vet’s office in Silver Spring different company recommended this one after I’d had a bad experience at another Reston vet, and I’m really glad she did. They definitely seem to care about the cat, and they’re more understanding when it comes to his moods. The pricing is well explained and not overpriced—I don’t feel like I’m being overcharged or lied to. They will show you a list of the pricing and explain things, and make sure you’re okay with it before they do anything. If they have to sedate your cat for any reason mine is MEAN so I understand completely, they take great care to make sure the cat is okay before sending him home. When they talk to me, it feels like a human-to-human conversation—not a sales voice or fake personality. I don’t feel like I’m being talked down to or disrespected in any way. I’ve worked in customer service before, so this is also really important to me.  They have very nice facilities and even have boarding available. They make sure the owner understands the process of whatever they are doing or going to do, and as someone who is very detail-oriented, I find this extremely important. They also have a lot of patience with my ADHD and forgetting to email back right away. I appreciate all of their patience and understanding, and would recommend them to any cat owner!

We LOVE Just Cats Clinic. They love our two kitties like their own. Every vet and tech are compassionate, thorough, and cat-lovers at heart. Their urgent care hours are super convenient. We chose this clinic over others because of their expertise on Sphynx cats, which most other clinics don’t have.

This is one of, if not the best vet offices I’ve ever been to! I’ve lived in many states, been a pet owner/volunteer care-taker my entire life, as well as a vet student, and this facility has so many positives! Great staff, very attentive to the animals and the people, very clean, and they remained organized even during a very busy time in the evening and all other times. Choose this vet, your kitty deserves their care!

The staff and vet were very friendly, they really took care of our cat in an emergency situation. Presented the options with the focus being on treating our cat, and what was best for him.  Highly recommend this clinic if you have a cat who needs care.

By far the best vet experience we’ve ever had. I have a senior cat 18 years with multiple medical challenges and the vets have taken such care to get to know him, explain every detail of his treatment options, and check in to make adjustments that are right for him. The staff is so friendly and responsive. My cat actually doesn’t mind going to the vet now they also know his favorite treats, so that probably helps too! I’ve noticed a significant improvement in our cat’s energy levels and overall wellness since coming to Just Cats. I couldn’t be more grateful!

I was a little nervous starting at a new clinic after taking my cat to another vet for almost 14 years. However, it was a great experience as I was able to be present to provide comfort and support to Kiwi during her exam. The calm demeanor of Dr. Tew and Zach was much appreciated and I was very impressed with how thorough they were and clearly had reviewed much of the voluminous records I sent prior to our appointment.  I highly recommend this practice to all cat parents!

There are not enough words to describe the absolute admiration I have for this vet practice! My 20 yr blind, kidney disease fur family member was treated with the highest compassion, integrity and care. ALL of the staff from the techs to the very skilled and dedicated vets are invested in the care of your cat 110% The owner and vet Dr. Elizabeth Chapman is extremely skilled and unique invested in the care of your cat. Unfortunately, it was my cat's time to say goodbye and this practice immensely helped us make the most unselfish decision we can make at the end of our pets lives. You will not be disappointed in the care, compassion and integrity that is shown by this practice.

I almost never leave reviews but was compelled to because this place is EXCELLENT. They clearly love cats and it is wonderful to go to a clinic that is specialized. My cat went to Just Cats Clinic for urgent care and I was so impressed by the level of care and concern the staff showed towards my cat. They did not rush us, we’re very thorough with several tests, and gave us a lot of great information. The day following my cat’s visit they followed up to ask about his symptoms/see how he was doing and answered every single one of my questions. If this clinic were closer I would absolutely take my baby there for every vet visit! Thanks again to the superb doctors and vet techs.

I took my senior cat here after hours for an emergency visit, and was so impressed with the Doctor and staff here. Honestly the best vet practice that I've ever been to. We just adopted another senior cat, and we already got her established here as a new patient.  We, and our cats, just love them!
