As a former prosecutor, Justin has
extensive experience evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of a case.
Justin Wilson served as an Assistant District Attorney in Collin County for three years before joining Rosenthal & Wadas. He quickly rose through the ranks to become a chief misdemeanor prosecutor and then a member of the felony trial team. As a former prosecutor, Justin has extensive experience evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of a case, and he uses his insight into the DA’s Office to achieve the best possible outcome for his clients. He is able to analyze criminal defense cases from both sides, and figure out how best to fight the state’s case.
During his career, Justin has taught courses on DWI investigations, conducting field sobriety tests and handling searches and investigations to officers from several Collin County police agencies.
A native of Texas, Justin earned his law degree at Southern Methodist University (Dedman School of Law) after receiving his undergraduate and Master’s degree from Baylor University. Following his Master’s program, he taught for 3 years in the Baylor University Film Department.
Justin is a member of the McKinney and Frisco Bar Associations and the Collin County Criminal Defense Lawyer’s Association (3CDLA).
In his off time Justin enjoys photography, screenwriting, film making, working out and being outdoors.
