Had Scheduled and they printed an appointment 2days ago. I went there 25minutes ahead of my scheduled appointment. I walked in and got checked in and was told to sit and wait to be called. waited way beyond my scheduled hour! Very disappointed to have scheduled appointment in advance and still wait over 2hours beyond my scheduled time and be seen by physician who seemed to be in hurry. and the waiting area had counted people so i could literally tell who i found there and who walked in got checked in after me.! Then to get the medicine, I lined up for 25 to go get checked in, and had to wait for 45minutes to see my name on the screen then line up again for 20minutes to get medication. Suggestion The medication should be ready by the time physicians is done with patient and patient cross over to the other side for pick up. Timely medical service Gives Hope to members on Recovery Journey!
I was kinda shocked I had been here before for my son in pediatrics everyone was really nice , Patient, & Understanding. But I recently came for my pregnancy in Labor & Delivery the nurses were really nice but The doctor that came in to exam me was really Rude Dr Nicolae tudorica he was upset because I was sent there from harbor without the nurses giving him a heads up . I feel it was very unprofessional for him to come into a room with a patient being rude and bitter because there was a miscommunication between the two hospitals.
My mom took my aunt to the hospital a second time this week due to her several medical conditions. My mom informed me how terrific Dr. Caroline King is. She also told me that she is knowledgeable, very informative and nice. My mom immediately felt at ease – and felt confident in receiving her expertise for my aunt’s medical care. She was very understanding and she listened to my mom’s concerns. My mom was impressed that the doctor was very attentive to my aunt’s health issues! My family is very impressed with the excellent service that Dr. King provided to my aunt! Thank you, Kaiser Permanente, for having excellent doctors like Dr. King!
Today, 9/3/23, I took my 93 year old Mom to the Urgent Care. The waiting room was packed, but we received the best of care from everyone!!! My compliments to Dr. Deval Dave. She went out of her way to help my mom. Her kindness, extra effort, and patience are to be commended!! She is amazing. In all the rush of so many people there to be treated, she made us feel so validated and comfortable. Can't say enough to thank her for making our experience as wonderfulas she could!!!!
During delivery, all our nurses were great but definitely Erika Ruffy made our experience better it was great having her by our side during delivery especially since communication in Spanish for my husband was important to us since I wanted him to understand everything throughout the process. During postpartum we also had great nurses, we had Delia twice as our nurse and she attended all our needs. My husband and I feel very appreciative for all those who helped us throughout our stay. Thank you.
Horrible pharmacy refill services, I've placed an order to refill my meds through the app and even on the phone multiple times because when I call for a refill order status, always ends up saying "there was no order placed" no matter if i ordered the refill over the phone or app. Every single time this has happened, I never receive a call to explain or to let me know why it has been canceled or why it cannot be fulfilled. Left in the dark for 2 weeks with no refill and having to constantly call to place order and constantly playing with my health. I would definitely not recommend Kaiser Permanente for any services especially with current events down in San Bernardino county. Wouldn't be surprised if that is happening in Los Angeles County and Orange County as well.
I went to the emergency room here for a sprained ankle. I was in a lot of pain and I had to sit in the waiting room for about 4 1/2 hours to be seen with a throbbing ankle. It was actually a pretty horrible experience because I was in massive pain. I couldn’t put my foot up because the waiting room is so packed. And I had to get an x-ray and instead of giving me a wheelchair they had me walk to the x-ray place which was the other building. It was actually kind of ridiculous.
I really held Kaiser at a higher standards when it came to service. I spent 4 hours between an urgent care visit and a visit to the pharmacy across from each other. My visit was because I needed a refill to cover for a day while my meds came thru the mail. The Dr seem to be friendly and attentive. He placed an order for some to cover me until the next day. When I was called to the window at the pharmacy to pick up my meds that the kind Dr prescribed. Only to be told that sorry but the Drs prescription can not be fulfilled. They left me with no meds and a painful night. After carefully reviewing the outcome I noticed that the Dr played a huge roll in wasting my time as well. Kaiser I truly hope this message has an adverse effect for you, just how you had an adverse effect on me tonight. I hope that your miscommunication doesn’t hurt no one else. If you are still reading this it’s because you have a genuine concern. Trust your gut about this place and run the other way.
Good services but recently lots of changes, including new nurses that includes travel nurses. Less experienced doctors. Really hard to get the specialist appointment. Primary care doctor tried to strech the visits before handover to specialist. Over the counter medication is expensive than outside options.
i’ve been back and forth to the er, urgent care, and my primary dealing with my fast heart rate and stomach issues … I always felt as if I was being dismissed and the majority of the time some of the staff wouldn’t be very friendly or willing to listen to me … the last time I went to the er not long ago I was waiting since 2am got a bed around 7-8am … but my nurse that day Mike B was WONDERFUL he was very professional, he listened to me, talked with me, checked in on me was friendly and really made my visit. I felt more at ease and they gave more information, ran more test in that visit than the other 5 visits.
