The Kansas Children's Discovery Center is ‘Serious Fun’ for the whole family! With interactive exhibits and hands-on discovery, children and families can enjoy fun-filled hours exploring art, nature and science together.
All ages can conduct science experiments, construct towers, create messy artist masterpieces and get up close with nature outdoors. The Discovery Center’s exhibits emphasize math, science and the arts, encouraging both critical and creative thinking, as well as promoting physical and gross-motor activity.
With programming and exhibits that align with the Kansas curriculum objectives, the Discovery Center is a resource for educators and provides interactive field trips for students in northeast Kansas. Birthday parties, family reunions, wedding receptions and corporate retreats are always ‘Serious Fun’ at the Discovery Center.
Mission: The Kansas Children’s Discovery Center enhances the lives of children and enriches the communities it serves.
Diversity Statement
The Kansas Children’s Discovery Center believes every child deserves rich and diverse museum experiences. We are committed to ensuring accessibility for every family. Our guests are all welcomed to visit without regard to age, race, gender, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender expression, sexual identity, ability, language, family circumstances and cultural backgrounds.
