A wide variety of clothing and such for the ladies. Not much for the men. Want some cologne or perfume come grab a bottle. Not sure what your style is but this is the perfect place for mom to shop.
I like to shop here for jewelry and undies for my wife. This stop was for Christmas gifts. I found a necklace and earring set that was perfect. The girl helping me was great, very helpful choosing a second set that matched well as I am not well versed in women's jewelry. The clerk who helped me in the lingerie department was very knowledgeable and helped me pinpoint what I was looking for. She showed me everything they had that fit what I wanted, but didn't have just the right one for me this time.
Very helpful attendant in men's. He found me a gold label dress shirt clearance marked all the way down to $13 along with a $40 tie. Unlike Macy's, Dillard's continues to sell quality clothing.
I have visited this store quite often, although I have not always found what I was looking for when they say they have it in stock. But the service here is amazing. I recently bought a new shirt for my Father's birthday. There was a wonderful lady who was there and helped make sure that I bought the shirt that would best fit him. Might I say that he loved it and the shirt looks amazing.
I wish I could leave a worse rating. I went in to purchase a formal dress for an MBA event. The store was FILTHY. Absolutely disgusting. There was opened sucked on candy stuck to the tables in the dressing room. A fake mail someone had torn off and left sitting on the table. Among other things. I spent $90 on a Calvin Klein dress. Wore it the next day and noticed that the underarm had torn along the stitching, as well as the hem of the dress. I wore it for an hour. I sat at a table that whole time. It should not have torn. For the money I paid I expected better. It felt like it had been poorly stitched together or torn before I bout it and I hadn’t noticed. Oh and because I had removed the tag even though I still have it and worn it they weren’t willing to give me a refund. Weren’t even apologetic. Worst customer service, horrible return policy, absolutely disgusting store. Just don’t shop here.
Going to the Dillards was like that scene from pretty woman. I had barely walked into the door by the fragrance counters and immediately was followed around the store And was treated like an inconvenience when I did ask for assistance. The building is very nice it’s brand new, But that’s not enough to make up for the awful customer service given by the ladies at the Dillards fragrance counter.
Dillard's is closing its store.. lots of great discounts on name brand clothing. I got a North Face pullover for 25.00 and a North Face shirt for 15.00. Store was messy and kinda dirty. I would not suggest going there due to the doors being locked but if you insist, go for it. Press your face to the door and say Open Open Open like old Mervyns.
It's a great place for a lot of things, but their selection in formal wear is a bit dismal. I ended up taking my chances on a custom dress on Amazon and was much happier with that than anything I found at Dillard's. Go there for almost anything else and you'll be fine.
I bought a formal dress here two nights ago and when I took it out of the bag at home, I noticed that it was dirty. I took it back to the store the next day and they tell me they can’t take back damaged merchandise. I explained that I had never worn the dress and whatever was on it was there when I bought it. The sales manager raised her eyebrows at me like she didn’t believe me and insisted the dress had clearly been worn before because the bottom was also frayed and the tag had been reattached, which I hadn’t even noticed or I wouldn’t have bought it!. Apparently the dress had been returned before and they put it back on the rack without even looking at it. They gave me a store credit after refusing to refund my money and kept suggesting that I was a liar and I left the store in tears embarrassed about what they thought of me. Horrible experience.
They have a great Big and Tall dept with Good quality clothing and great prices! Make sure you check the "clearance" racks which today had 65% off. Anita was great at the register.
