Kato Public Charter School serves students in grades 6 through 12. Class sizes are capped at 17 students. It is a public school, so there is no tuition. Students meet Minnnesota graduation requirements through a combination of exploratory, project-based, and structured classes. We offer a variety of field trips and hands-on learning opportunities. Community involvement is highly encouraged and students are expected to volunteer in the community. The school was established in 2000 as RiverBend Academy and it was renamed in 2014.
