It's not in a neighborhood. It's surrounded by concrete but still the stadium itself a classic design. Nice clean concourses. Tons of food and drink choices along with great staff. The team really, really stinks this year but, they won today! I love all the stuff they've put into the outfield. It reminds me a small town street.
Pretty cool stadium. Was in town because the Cardinals were playing the Royals. First time at Kauffman. Sight lines were good. Beautiful stadium. I'm sad that there are already plans to replace it. I guess I can understand though. There is literally nothing around the stadium except the parking lot.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Kauffman Stadium. The location is great, easy to get in and out of, the facilities are clean and well-kept, and the field is in excellent condition. The local fans that we sat next to we’re very friendly. The food options were also good. Really nice that you can get refillable. Soft drinks here. There is a really good vibe and atmosphere at Kauffman. It really is a shame that they are looking to replace this stadium.
Had seats in 102 $39/ticket, advance parking passes $20/vehicle and outfield experience passes $10/kid. Awesome spot on the field this game started at 6pm, so wearing a hat was helpful and the kid events/outdoor experience were near that section. They also sell tokens for $2/each station and several of the stations were free 40 yard dash and playground were popular. Our kiddos really liked the mini golf, basketball hoops and the younger ones loved the carousel! The carousel attendant was awesome-- he was thoughtful and kind to each of the kids. Appreciate that Kauffman stadium let's you bring in unopened water bottles and has a water filling station-- that's so nice for families, thank you! Across the board the food was great. We tried a few things as a family-- burnt ends, brisket nachos, chicken strips, french fries best ones were from the chicken strip vendor and tasty strawberry ice cream Belfonte's. I also had a strawberry daiquiri and it was really good-- sweet enough that it would've been hard to have a second one, but so delicious, especially on a hot day. We parked in lot A and went through gate E, so it was super slick to get to our seats and we didn't have to walk a mile with little ones. Appreciate that it was open 90 minutes before the game started so we could come in a little early, eat something and play a bit!
A great stadium. They don’t build them like this anymore. You can still get close to the plate for a decent price, as well as have some player interaction. There’s a free museum in the outfield, as well as a play area for kids. The water features are pretty cool as well. New stadiums would have packed this area with things no one asked for in an effort to make more money, but the Royals stadium has retained its charm by not selling out. This is truly a memorable stadium and not one to be missed. It’s truly a family friendly stadium and a fan friendly stadium.
Astros fan, yet so happy to come back and see the Stros play here. The waterfalls are cool and there's nothing like an open air ballgame under the sun on a fall day! It was beautiful
Everything about this visit was positive. Employees were very helpful with parking and entry. Navigating the stadium and finding our seats was easy and the views appeared to be good from just about anywhere. The upper seats were a great view and very affordable for a family of five.
We love the royals stadium. We are upset they are moving it downtown. The stadium now has plenty of parking, decent space between seats. Comfortable seating for stadium seats. A great variety of food to choose from. They always have special days to get stuff and discount tickets. You should def visit and see a royals game.
Loved this stadium, huge screen, fountains, hall of fame museum, kids play zone! They allowed us to bring unsealed water or sports drink, and 1 gallon ziplog bag of food each. That was cool. Got in quick and no hassle. The stadium has nice air flow, and bathroom lines are not long.
We love our Royals! No matter the “weather”, we will always be happy to cheer them on. While we’ve been to The K many times, we never tried out the mini golf in the kids area before. It is a neat little course! We always like walking through the hall of fame, seeing the fountains, and of course watching a baseball game. There isn’t a bag seat in the stadium.
