I have been to KHCC several times and I volunteered to help with the Christmas Party. The staff was great to work with and went above and beyond to make the residents happy. I have noticed lots of updates throughout the building for the residents to enjoy like the new library and rooms. I would like to thank the staff for keeping residents health and interest #1.
The staff & nurses were amazing. Today marks 6 years since I lost my 43 year old brother to kidney failure. When they notified us my brother was passing they moved the other patient in his room to a different room so we could have privacy & the whole family could be with him. They check on us to make sure we were ok emotionally & offered us wisdom, prayers & made sure we had chairs for everyone & some nurses even offered hugs. They made sure my brother was not suffering. They told us what to expect to prepare us before we went in. All I can say is they were amazing. The care they gave my brother & the banter back & forth with him made them honestly care as in feelings. We had many nurses & staff stop in and shared stories & cried with us. They honestly cared about my brother. I can't thank them enough for the care the gave a diabetic who lost his sight, his leg & eventually his kidneys. They made sure he was included in every activity they held & became true friends with him. These are the type of people you would want your loved ones to be with if they can't be at home.
This place was horrible to work at. Infested with roaches, horrible staffing. The administrator Jamie is a joke. They cover up their wrong doings and lie their way out of things. The CNA’s don’t know how to teamwork and the nurse Regina is more concerned about following people around than doing her job. There were a few staff members who were great. I would never consider putting any family member there after seeing the way they run this facility.
No complaints about khcc, every time I visit everyone is so nice and attentive to everyone's needs. Very organized and well managed. Love the staff, Jamie and Dawn are both awesome, thank you both if you see this and God bless.
Very pleasent visit to this nursing facility. Wonderful staff and residents! I would place a loved one within this facility on any given day.
