The first time I saw Dr. Meetze, he was somewhat helpful, but the second time, he didn't make any effort whatsoever to help me. Didn't even prescribe or recommend anything to alleviate my symptoms, which by the way I am still having. The reviews I had read on him were very positive, but I wasn't impressed by him at all. I felt like he couldn't wait to be done with me.

All about turnover. Didnt remember what we discussed at previous appt. Talks into a device instead of typing to have quicker turnover. After two questions looks at his watch for time. Didn’t give clear direction forward on how to fix problems at hand.l and leaves it open ended to set up future appts.

Dr. Meetze has taken excellent care of my 76-year-old dad.  He had skin cancer on his ear.  Dr. Meetze did an excellent job removing it and repairing his ear, you can't even tell that a good bit of his ear was removed.  He's currently removing a spot on his nose.  He's very knowledgeable and has excellent bedside manners. I highly recommend him.

I really like Dr. Meetze, he takes time to answer your questions which means a lot to me.  He is down to earth and friendly not like some specialists.  He has put a tube in my ear and removed a sebaceous cyst below my ear.  His whole staff is very friendly and smiling when you walk in.  I have been to 4 other Ear Specialists and Dr. Meetze is the only one that has taken the time to say that I have a pocket in my ear drum.  My son also goes to him and recommended him to me.  I highly respect and recommend him.

I can’t believe the difference in my breathing after visiting Dr. Meetze. I went to him to get my hearing checked, which luckily was OK. I happen to mention to him my breathing through my mouth rather than through my nose. He was able to take a look up my nose and find the problem that I didn’t even know I had. To some people this might not seem like a big issue but it made a big improvement in my life. I use a full face mask with my cpap machine and it caused severe dry mouth. After going through a 15 minute procedure with Dr. Meetze I was able to switch to a nose mask on my CPAP machine.No more dry mouth! Dr. Meetze is a dedicated professional to his craft.

Three generations of my immediate family have received care from Dr. Meetze, and the care he has provided has been excellent in every way.  My son has had multiple ear issues since he was an infant. My son, who is on the autism spectrum, is unusually difficult to manage for most doctors, whereas Dr. Meetze’s presence seems to be very calming for my son. He is gentle and has the ability to get my son to cooperate when other doctors can’t.  My son has had 4 ear surgeries by now- Dr. Meetze has performed one of 4 surgeries himself,  but has never hesitated to refer us to a more specialized pediatric otolaryngologist for more complicated surgeries when it was appropriate.  The office staff always smile and greet us by name, and everyone in this office is friendly, professional, and make us feel welcome.  I read the complaint about a billing issue- and I’m sure an occasional error may occur with any practice- but our experiences differ. Out of ~90 times within the past 11 years one of us have walked through the doors at Lake Norman ENT, we have never had a single issue or problem, billing or otherwise.  Additionally, when I suspect something might be wrong- an infection, for example- we have been fortunate enough to have been able to get worked in very quickly.  I couldn’t ask for better care then we have consistently received from Dr. Meetze, his partners, and his staff.

As someone who has had chronic ear problems, I never thought that I would see any measurable improvement in my hearing. Dr. Meetze was able to provide holistic advise inclusive of avoiding foods that aggrevate my condition, while providing me with the ability to recognize early symptoms and mitigating my episodes. Highly recommended!

Dr. Meetze took excellent care of me.  He found the reason for my constant infections which another doctor missed several times. He called to check on me personally after surgery, which is HUGE in my book. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Meetze has taken care of my daughter's chronic ear infections.  He has been great with her.  We highly recommend him!

Not impressed. Went to two different doctors at this office and was not properly diagnosed by either. Made me have unnecessary medical tests that costs me hundreds. Office manager would not budge, said I was responsible for all costs. Went to a different ENT and got everything taken care of.  I do not recommend this place at all. Save your money and time and go to a different ENT office. You will thank me.
