At age 5 my daughter was diagnosed with anxiety, depression, OCD, sensory processing disorder, ADHD, along with eye problems and leg problems that developed from tippy toe walking. We spent years going to various doctors: pediatrician, psychologist, psychiatrist, eye doctor, occupational therapy, physical therapy, to name a few.
Our life revolved around doctors, appointments, and medications. With all the running and hours spent in doctors offices nothing got better just worse. They said nothing could be done except more medications.
One night I sat reading the warning label on my daughters medication as she was once again blowing a complete fit around the house. I read, “this medications has been know to cause suicide, depression, etc...” I thought I am giving my daughter this drug to help her and it actually says it can make it worse. I decided that what we were doing was not working. I literally cried out to God for help.
The next week I was telling a mentor of mine what was going on with my daughter. She said, “Have you ever tried natural health?” I said, “No.” That is where our journey of healing began.
We started down the road of chiropractic, supplementation, yeast, food sensitivities, and was thrust into the world of natural health. Although overwhelming, this journey we have been on lead to my daughter being completely healed and discharged from every doctor she has ever seen!
After this journey I began educating moms on real healthy food for their families, the healing properties of food, and practical ways to actually be successful in feeding their families in a way that promotes health and healing. As well as began working with many families that have to eat special diets for some reason or another.
Our struggles have been able to help others not have to go through such turmoil. I have been able to come along side of families going through similar thing that we have and provided support and encouragement. I truly believe that what has been done for one will be done for another, therefore as our story goes forth it brings hope, healing, and health to many!
