"Kellogg University Art Gallery, built by the Kellogg Foundation with support from W.Keith & Janet Kellogg in 1988, was gifted in the spirit of W.Keith’s grandfather, W.K.Kellogg, who donated the land to the State of California for use by CalPoly in 1949. The Kellogg Gallery is located in Bldg35A at the Northend of the Bronco Student Center and is part of the College of Environmental Design. The exhibition space is approx. 4,300sf with a Sculpture Courtyard featuring "The Gates" by Italian designer Ettore Sottsass, and "Replicate Substance" by artist David B. Jang. The gallery utilizes its close proximity to the LA and surrounding areas a resource in presenting timely, engaging exhibitions of Contemporary Art in a variety of contexts."
