Just spent a wonderful visit at The Victorian, a property of The Kent Collection. The moment you walk through the double stained glass front doors you can sense that this property has been restored with love and an attention to comfort for all the guests. Each suite is unique in its furnishings and the common areas are stunning as well. The location on Main Street is quiet, yet just steps to the shops and restaurants. Upon returning to The Victorian you can choose to sit at the fire pit or relax at the patio with a fountain. An exceptional spot in a charming New England town. Walkability: Steps from all Kent has to offer and a short drive to the Kent Falls.
We had a lovely evening at the Firefly Inn at the Kent Collection. We stayed in Suite #1 and enjoyed having our own minibar for making cocktails and a private patio for sitting outside to read and relax. Just outside our door was a stairway up to two other rooms including a double twin room which would be perfect for a family coming to town that wants their own spaces nearby. Everything in the house is brand new and well appointed and felt very homey. Full kitchen and dining spaces would also make it a great place to rent out for a small group. Being able to walk into all of the bookstores and restaurants in town without having to drive makes it the perfect place to stay when wanting to explore Kent. Note that there isn't food service right now so you can snack at the inn or need to go into town for proper breakfast and meals.
Our stay at The Victorian was top notch. The house was gorgeous with so much thought and amazing taste going into each detail. We were able to walk right into town for dinner and the owner was responsive and helpful with recommendations. My husband and I had such a memorable stay at The Victorian.Rooms: 5/5
The Victorian at The Kent Collection is an amazing place! The newly renovated property is an incredible mix of modern design and antique furnishings that made me feel right at home. The innkeeper welcomed us with open arms, gave us a tour of the entire property and helped us settle into our room, known as The Wedding Suite, which was filled with lots of light. The enormous bathroom has a huge, inviting claw-foot tub - heavenly. The property is super close to downtown Kent so we could walk to restaurants and shops. And the innkeeper helped us plan excursions around the area - we hiked the falls, visited the brewery and bought too much cheese at the local cheese shop. Highly recommend a visit to this amazing place!

We stayed at the Victorian over President's Day weekend and it was wonderful. Before our stay, Keli was super-responsive and answered all our questions. When we arrived, we were blown away by the property. It's an old Victorian house that has been meticulously restored; it feels like a chic, luxurious country home. Many of the old details are preserved and combined with modern touches and décor. The rooms are beautiful we stayed in Room 5 and everything was clean and taken care of. There was also delicious breakfast every morning, including eggs, French toast, yogurt and granola, and abundant fruit, as well as snacks and coffee/tea available. The inn itself is located a within a short walk to the town of Kent, which was great since we preferred not to have to drive everywhere. Keli provided excellent recommendations for things to do -- hiking and running paths, parks to visit, and sites to see in the area. The whole staff was extremely welcoming and helpful, and looked after our comfort. Overall it was a fantastic weekend. Don't hesitate!
I had such a lovely stay at The Victorian for a quiet, fun weekend just outside of the city. The inn is in the charming town of Kent, where I had a great time shopping at the book store and R.T. Facts, and had a delicious lunch at Swyft and dinner at Kingsley. I stayed in the Victoria and Albert suite, which was a calm, comfortable oasis. The inn has a historic feel with contemporary touches that make it a comfortable and upscale place to stay. There are so many beautiful, thoughtful details everywhere you look! Keli the gracious innkeeper helped us with everything we needed for a fabulous weekend. I can’t wait to stay at The Victorian again!
"The Victorian experience was truly extraordinary. From the moment we stepped through the front door of the newly renovated inn, we enjoyed every facet - the warm welcome upon arrival and the attention to design detail showcased throughout every room. We were treated like VIP's by the incredible staff - Keli, Darlene and Joe. We could tell that the owners meticulously labored over every detail in this amazingly beautiful restoration. We loved the gas lanterns that lined the brick walkway and the huge front porch with the swing built for two. We stayed in the Wedding Suite complete with a gas fireplace, huge claw foot bath tub, plush robes, Apotheke toiletries, and an extra large shower. The bed was very comfortable, dressed with premium linens, pillows and comforter. We loved making drinks, having snacks, and socializing at the cool newly designed bar, and playing cards while listening to music in the library. The town of Kent was very quaint, with both sides of the street lined with unique shops, restaurants and art galleries. You must check out the cool shops/galleries in Kent Barns right off the main street too. We also took advantage of the great hiking around Kent where we took in the beautiful scenery at Kent Falls. Without hesitation, we highly recommend the Kent Collection Victorian Inn and we can't wait to come back!"
