The visiting nurse doing my wound care at my home forgot to apply Hydrogel to my wound on three occasions. I had to point it out & she had to remove the dressings to apply the gel which is the main ingredient in the healing process. The wound care was originally scheduled during the early day 3x/wk. Without discussion the nurse calls me at 8:30 pm one night & informed me she'd be visiting me between 12:30-2:30 the following day, no respect for my time. I lost a paid training I'd scheduled for that dayFriday I called the office no help as of yesterday Sunday I received a text from the nurse at 6pm letting me know that the she'd be seeing me between 12:30- 2:00 pmMonday no call or discussion, my scheduled paid training again cancelled because of no respect for my time. This is very unprofessional & not exceptable, the nurse's response you want the wound care or not, good luck trying to get help with the office to change the schedule or nurse you'll get the answering machines and no return calls. This is Not a skilled agency , they are unprofessional & I don't recommend anyone using them.
My Grandmother is receiving homecare services through KeystoneCare. I cannot speak highly enough about all of the staff caring for her, including the Nurse, Physical Therapist and Aide. Since starting homecare services, I have watched her regain strength and wellbeing to levels I didn't think were possible for her. If you need Homecare services, I highly recommend KeystoneCare.
I cannot speak to the experience of hospice care physically in this building, my grandmother was given hospice in her home with her husband/my grandfather, myself, and my husband taking care of her ourselves everyday. Tyler and Michael were the people who were scheduled to assist us with the process. Medication, care tips, etc, they helped us through everything. My grandmother was given hospice on a Wednesday evening, we preferred to care for her ourselves day and night until she passed an entire week later. Due to some very awful family disputes and ongoing bad blood, there was a lot of miscommunication of how to best help my grandmother and causing Keystone to send a social worker out only once and almost two days after she was admitted to hospice at home. But no worries. After talking to Michael, he VERY QUICKLY assessed the family tension without me having to say ANYTHING and guided me and my husband through the caring process. I was feeling very scared and sad thinking that I wasn’t doing a good enough job. When Michael and Tyler came and complimented our care saying my grandmother looked comfortable, my heart swelled. When her time came, she really did look comfortable. I could not have done it without them. Thank you Keystone for having two amazing, lovely souls like Michael and Tyler, they are truly a dime a dozen.
We had a terrible experience with KeystoneCare. The 'sales' team was very helpful but - in practice - the care was not good. They spent little time with my mum - all their time was on the phone, preparing meals for themselves, or on their break. I am not convinced that they actually were qualifies. There are some good reviews on here, so maybe we were just very unlucky, but things were tricky!
Our family is so grateful to Keystone for the care and attention they gave my mother during the last weeks of her life. The Doctor, RN's, Aides and Administrators were all so thoughtful and professional, and it made it easier for the family to know she was in good hands. It was also nice to have a homelike environment for our visits. Everything seemed more personal than we could have expected or hoped for.
The Keystone House/ Hospice..8765 Stenton Ave. Wyndmoor, Pa. The Edwards, Montgomery, and Odums' family truly appreciate all the kind and wonderful care the staff extended to our family member. We all send our warmest blessings and peace to Nurse Lindsey, Louise, Maureen, and Beverly..Social workers Stephanie and Rosie, Rabbi Brian, all the many nursing assistants that gave my sister her daily personal care.. Dietitians and the office staff, that was always Pleasant, no matter how many calls we made and asked to be transferred to the second floor.. Thank you all. Our family was very fortunate that my sister was in the care of the staff at Keystone House/Hospice, because of the extremely caring care my sister received in her final days of her life there. Upon our family visits my sister was relaxed and at peace, she was pleased with her care and had no concerns or complaints and that made her transition a lot easier on her and the family members. The staff is highly qualified and for our family they didn't only take very good care of our family member, these people at Keystone bless their hearts, they provided the best ever support to our family also. The Edwards, Montgomery and Odums' family, would love to say, we appreciate all of you at Keystone House, Thank you for everything. Conclusion.. If there's ever a time in one's life where you and family members had to make an unfortunate decision for loved one.. I truly and honestly would recommend Keystone House in Wyndmoor, Pa in the Philadelphia area Stay strong, stay healthy, stay blessed, peace. Sincerely Junior, Brenda, Pat and the family 5 / 6 / 2020
Our mother was brought home on hospice from the hospital, after a severe and life-threatening reaction to one round of chemo. KeystoneCare was there for us right from the very beginning. Joan, my mother’s nurse, brought with her warmth, charm, knowledge, and an incredible personality and sense of humor. My mother improved, despite her terminal illness, and Joan supported us in ensuring Mom was able to have regular outings, even getting us a portable rechargeable oxygen machine so that we could take longer day trips. During the early months, both my sister and I were able to rest at ease knowing that Raeleen and Veronica, Keystone nursing assistants, were on duty throughout the night. We were confident that our mother was in capable, caring hands. We only stopped having them come because Mom began doing well with all of her support, and wanted more independence. Our special day person, Cinquetta, brought with her a bubbly, lively, personality, lifting Mom’s spirit and giving her encouragement when needed. She told Mom that not only would she see her 87th birthday, but that she would see Christmas and she did. During her final days, we were grateful to have Louise and Marylande, the on-call nurses, to guide us. They reassured us that we were helping our mother transition in the best way possible. We were frightened, confused, and overwhelmed the day we brought our mother home on hospice. KeystoneCare was there for us from day one.
They are loving and kind. My mother is in wonderful hands. Everyone has been awesome especially Jaclyn.
i had total knee replacement and sent home after three days, keystone home services was my aftercare at home and i had two fabulous proffesionalsfrom Keystone home services come to my home to help in my rehabilatation one nurse and one therapist. and right from day one they were proffesional courteous and more then knowledable in what neededd to be done in following the dr. orders and keeping me comfortable, explaining everything they were doing and what needed to be done every step of the way keeping me informed. and as it was keeping me on schedule in the healig process. there is no other home service i would use or reccomend my nurse was Shannon and my therapist was Chris, we developed a working relationship and i would say a friendship they were always ontime and stayed until they knew i was comfortable in the days workout and to the whole staff at Keystone i say a very well deserved Thank You for all your help and kindness. i would reccomend keystone to anyone needing home aftercare
