Wyndmoor Hills Premier Subacute Care

I was there last year May to June, 2022 for rehab. They didn't have no air conditioning at all, activities for the patients-nothing. Being social and eating with other people, we eat in our rooms not the dining room. As for the aides 3 to 11 pm that I don't trust them because they don't treat me right. As for pt/ot - I didn't have much of that in which I needed that the most. I recently just got my bill from them after a year after I left there. What gives.

Needs more than one working elevator! The workers and nurses are cordial and helpful and taking care of the residents. The facility really needs to be updated. At one time this facility was a five star facility with all the bells and whistles.

After 8. Weeks of serious rehabilitation I am convinced that the total staff is totally concerned about patient care and therapy. Personal service is given and prompt attention is given to patient's immediate needs. Environment is clean and smells fresh. Lastly medication is given on a consistent basis.

I picked up 1 shift here I wouldn't send my cat here! This place is filthy the work environment is unprofessional and some of the nurses are beyond disrespectful. And good luck with having supplies to care for the residents. This place is more like a shelter than a nursing home. They barely have juice for the residents thet had to stretch the juice they had by adding water already watered down juice. The patients were border line starving. This place is so dirty a resident had a family member visiting when she flew out the room to inform us it was a dead mouse on the window ceil. They were using cups and urinals ro hold the windows open. And they are quick to DNR you if you speak up for yourself. That's what happened to me I told the agency your doing me a favor cause I had no intentions on coming back ever!!

I had a wonderful visit with my Aunt, Genevieve Brown at Wyndmor Hills on Sunday, April 16th. The staff seemed to be very pleasant while I was with her. The only complaint I had, the elevators weren't working and to trek up 3 flights of stairs was a bit much.

This place is a huge problem. I have a family member there right now. She calls me daily to inform me of how she is treated there. The nurses there are very nice, however, that's it. They have very limited staff so she will go hours without receiving meds that she needs. The meals that they serve them are truly disappointing. For breakfast she had been served two frozen boiled eggs and bread. Dinner, she has received uncooked chicken and peas. Praying that no one sends their loved ones here. Please send somewhere else. I must note that the Admissions Director, Joyce, treated her with respect, love, and dignity, as she did with all the patients there.

At one time you could tell this place probably was exceptional . Not anymore . No attention to detail, no accountability , especial from the so called "nurses" Overall the assistance do the best they can. Bottom line your presences is needed with any family member you have there, you will have fight for them .

Vile, horrific, dirty, nasty, irresponsible, neglectful, abusive, criminal. negligent, disrespectful, predators, thieves, liars, deceptive, unresponsive, ignorant, unprofessional, rude, life destroyers, uneducated, unqualified, This place needs to be close down.

My dad has been there for only 3 days thus far. He is 89 and they gave him 2 cold boiled eggs and called that breakfast. The first night he arrived they put him in a room that the window couldn’t close and thought an 89 year old would be okay “freezing,” when he has AFIB & CANCER. I had to call and the nurse was nice to get him out of that room. He called me on Saturday around 11ish to tell me they did not feed him. They didn’t have a food tray for him they claimed, gave him a box of some unknown brand of cereal. He is in a room with a sink to wash and a commode and “bathroom!” He had the same clothes on since he’s been there and I brought him clean clothes to change. I can’t believe the condition of the place and I will get him out of there first thing Monday morning because I really think this place is NOT SUITABLE TO CARE FOR ANYONE…An I’m told by staff that there is NOTHING anyone could do because UPPER MANAGEMENT WON’T DO ANYTHING… They’re just collecting the MONEY FROM MEDICARE…OFF THE BACKS OF INNOCENT SENIOR CITIZENS…

RUN!! Never place any of your love ones here. I was here for almost a month and found out my aides were there for just 30 or less days to. Most nurses only came around just to give you medication. It was the aides that did Everything. No meds didn't see a nurse. Just getting money from Medicare not to help you heal. It was awful down to cold food breakfast, lunch and dinner. I had a hot meal 1x from them the other times when my family brought to me. Everything done in the room even theraphy which was only 30 min a day. It was dirty, old and I could go on with all the problems going on here. Do not send any one here especially Senior Citizens.
