My drink had no ice in it! Mac and cheese looked like it had been sitting a while wasn't hot at all! Barely any mashed potatoes. They did taste good though! Biscuit was good The chicken breading wasnt cooked all the way in some parts. I gave it two stars cause it's clean plus staff was very friendly!
Chicken was vey dark like it was burnt and very very salty. The biscuits were very dry around the edges. I’ll take my $50 else wear Not the first time I haven’t been happy, but the first time I left a review
I am disappointed every time I come here. The mashed potatoes were so runny, Would not hold gravy. In the chicken stock that they use is really small. The restaurant is super clean and modern which is the only reason why I gave it two stars. Nothing about this meal put a smile on my face. Well maybe the biscuits were OK. I will not be spending $40 here again 12-28 tried to see if things changed. Stupid me. Chicken burnt. No flavor. How is it, our kfc has the worst chicken in town and corporate headquarters is 2 hrs away. How can management let this food be served. Original recipe shouldn’t be extra crispy and extra brown. McDonald’s has better food than this place.
The employee working the front counter today was unqualified to say the least, he missed so many drink/food items and acted confused when confronted about it. They clearly had no clue what was going on in their establishment. Very mediocre.Food: 4/5
I went into KFC on 54 in Owensboro with my young son tonight, stressful and tired, not wanting to cook and not wanting to spend a fortune on too much food that I knew would ultimately be wasted. I stood at the counter for a good 15 minutes, trying to come up with the perfect combination of chicken and sides to feed the two of us without any leftovers. I can eat one of their meals but my son is five - too big for one of their kid's meals and too small for a grownup meal. An employee names Ashley stepped up to the plate and saved me. She worked up a combination of a meal, a la carte items, and upgrades that was exactly what I was looking for and was incredibly helpful and polite throughout. I know this doesn't seem like a huge deal, but it was. I was run ragged from running errands and trying to pack for an upcoming move, my son was hungry and grumpy, and I couldn't even think straight long enough to place a simple order at a fast food joint. She saw a worn out Mama and felt sympathy. She was patient with my fussy little boy and she was kind to me. Sometimes, people don't realize that it's the small things that make a difference. Ashley, if you ever read this, thank you. You make my night so much easier. KFC, if you guys read this, you need to know what a great employee you have. She went above and beyond to show kindness. She is the picture-perfect example of impeccable customer service. Kid-friendliness: See above review.
Went to hwy 54 KFC, I could not believe they didnt have crispy chicken at 4 30, was told it. would take 30 minutes before ready, had to go to foodland IGA to get crispy chicken totally dispointed, drove from west end of town to east end
It was bad. They only had chicken wings so I settled and was told to pull forward cuz they were holding 6 minutes on biscuits and 20 minutes later I called and yep....totally forgot I was even there. Then gave me to Xtra biscuits to go with my super cold 3 wings and fries that had been sitting 3 forevers. Smh
Just made mobile order said order was completed. Went to pick up my food and was told they could not fulfill order. Card was charged and was told they could not refund since it was mobile order would have to call to get my $50 dollars put back on my card. Heard her telling staff they where out of everything. There was still 2 hours before they closed. So my order was given away since on the app it said it was completed.
I went and ordered 2 of the "bowl" meals for my son and me. He wanted Mac and Cheese, and I added a side of sweet corn. They were both small helping but cost $2.49 each. The corn was very nasty, and looked like it had been in the warming pot for days. Very upset, and wish that management could get this fixed before the store goes under. Click on the corn and let me know what you think. Sadly the corn in the bowl looked the same.
Absolute the best Kentucky Fried Chicken that i have tasted. I have tasted many in Florida and none of them in Florida have tasted this good. Top staff also. ThanksFood: 5/5
