Kimmee's Cakes

Kimmee made a cake for my wedding a few months ago and it was absolutely amazing! I had an idea of how I wanted the cake to look but neither my husband nor I like really sweet desserts. We met with Kimmee and she was easily able to help us, and the cake was phenomenal. Kimmee and someone from her staff delivered the cake to the venue on time and placed fresh flowers on it. She also made sure everything was set up and we had everything we needed before leaving. Everyone at the wedding loved the cake and wanted to know where we had gotten it from. I could not have asked for better service. My husband and I plan to purchase a small cake for the two of us on our anniversary.

Kimmee'e cakes made a cake for our wedding last year. It was beautiful and most importantly DELICIOUS!! All of my guests enjoyed every bite and went back for more! The price is also very reasonable and they are great to work with!

Kimmee did an amazing job on our cake! It was beautiful and everyone said it tasted wonderful. Also, I am gluten free and she made me my own gluten free cake! It was the best gluten free dessert I've ever had-even my husband loved it! Usually gluten free cakes can be dense and dry, but not this one. Couldn't tell the difference. Thanks Kimmee!!

Kimmee did my 4 tier wedding cake and a 3 tiered groom's cake for my 7/16/16 wedding. The wedding cake was absolutely stunning, she did the layers in white cake and Italian Crème and the layers were different sizes with different icing techniques for texture. The cake tasted amazing and it was gorgeous-she even did a gold layer for me to coordinate with the reception colors. The groom's cake was a lemon "semi-naked" cake with raspberry crème filling and fresh berries. Both cakes were delicious and I got so many compliments on them-especially the lemon cake since it was so different and perfect for a summer wedding. Kimmee was great to work with and her prices are extremely reasonable. Not only did she beat the prices of other bakers in the area, but her cakes also beat them in my taste tests! I highly recommend Kimmee's Cakes and will be ordering from her again for any future needs.

Please do not use Kimmee’s Cakes. There is definitely a reason they are going out of business next year. We were very disappointed in our wedding cake, which looked nothing like the picture we sent. Also, one of the layers was missing strawberry filling and another layer was extremely dry. The whole experience was extremely unprofessional from the time we showed up for our first meeting. She allowed her teenage daughter to throw things at the table we were sitting at. There was a clear rodent problem at her shop, which was extremely dirty! Worst of all, when Kimmee arrived at our wedding, she was incredibly rude and disrespectful to our wedding coordinator because of the location we chose for our cake outdoors for an outdoor wedding. That’s right... KIMMEE was upset about the location of OUR cake, the one WE PAID FOR. Finally, she charged us more than the price she originally quoted. And... the final cake didn’t include the flowers we wanted because she couldn’t replicate them and our final cake fed less people than the original cake quoted. Please please do not trust your special occasion with Kimmee between now and their closing date Summer 2019!! Just don’t!!!
