My dad stayed here while recovering. Staff was always friendly and attentive to my dad. Everyone from the security guard and front desk receptionists to the the doctors and specialists and all the various nurses were always very attentive and informative. Even the custodial staff was very nice and kept the place very well maintained. Also wanna say that Fara called me multiple times to ask me how I felt the staff and overall care for my dad was going and I liked that she was on top of things. Lastly I want to say that Lucille, my dads social worker went above and beyond to place my dad in a new facility close to our home. Overall I’m VERY PLEASED with the care at KINDRED HOSPITAL RIVERSIDE. Thank you all from the HERRERA family.
My father stayed at Kindred Hospital for two weeks. We are forever grateful for the doctors, nurses, and staff for the exceptional care of my father. Our experience at this hospital was very pleasant. Since the first day we arrived Jolene was the first to make us feel welcomed. That same day my father shared to nurse Andres that he didn’t feel himself because his beard had grown so much. He had been at another hospital for 4 weeks before arriving at Kindred. Not even 5 minutes later nurse Andres took the time to shave my father’s beard. Something so small brought a huge smile and dignity to my father. My father shared that all nurses that cared for him were respectful, attentive, and caring and wishes he could remember all their names to mention them on this review. He especially thanks nurse Melissa and director/therapist Arlene for their patience, kindness, and with helping him with his recovery. Thank you case manager Rochelle for answering all my questions and concerns.
This hospital was great. The staff was friendly, professional and helpful. My wife was there for a month and as the staff got to know her needs they did everything to make her comfortable. Thank you Jan, the RT team and the staff who made sure she was always clean. Thank you
My mother has been here for a few weeks. When I do a rating at three stars there is a reason. First and foremost if your loved one is here make sure you are apart in their recovery here. Only because you need to make sure they are being taken care of plus it’s your loved one you should know what’s going on with them day in and out. The staff is real nice but they do have a work load. Which causes them to forget the little things like changing them or eye drops which I had to remind them daily. When I came in and she was sweating up a storm it was because of her blood sugar they fixed the problem and after that they made sure to watch her closely. To me they need to watch patients more closely. I feel they try to do their best but they lack on help here. They need to hire more people to take care of our 40 loved ones. It’s been a up and down rollercoaster but through it all my mom has improved and still alive going on her next adventure .
Last week my family and I had the pleasure of meeting the Nursing Supervisor, Wendell. When he came to the room he introduced himself and explained what is position was. He had a delightful personality upbeat and funny. He spoke with us about the care his team provides and talked a little bit about old school music which made my sister, Pam smile. He also checked on us a couple of times see if we needed anything. He was both professional and and personable which is exactly what we needed. nneeded.needed. which is exactly what we needed.
I like to recognize Victoria ,liberty, Janet ,Najee Job well done with one of the patient's there are very courtesy, and have good customer service and more detail in their job why they’re are taking care of the patient. also, like to recognize a respiratory staff, especially Darlene .
The RN's here are some of the dumbest RN's I have ever met in a facility. I am surprised that the patients there are still alive with an RN crew like that. Thank God for the Respiratory Therapy team at this facility though if it weren't for them I am seriously convinced that the RN's would have killed everyone here without their lack of critical thinking. RESPIRATORY THERAPISTS ARE THE TRUE ANGELS AND HEROS HERE AT THIS FACILITY GOD BLESS THEM AND THEY DESERVE TO MAKE MORE THAN THE RN'S HERE AT THIS FACILITY SINCE THEY ACTUALLY DO THEIR JOBS AND CORRECTLY. #RESPIRATORYDESERVEMORE ;CREDIT, PAY, AND MANAGEMENT SUPPORT. The RRT assigned to my dad here told the nurse to stop giving him so much fluids because he thinks that the patient might have to get intubated if it doesn't get under control he might not tolerate BIPAP but the RN scoffed and rolled her eyes and belittled the RRT!! Next thing you know my dad had to be intubated but the RRTs have been taking amazing care of my father with his vent management and oral care, etc... Amazing team of RRTs, and CNAs.
This hospital takes great care of my father. He is always clean thanks to his CNAs Martha, Bonnie and Melissa. His RTs Darlene and Ingrid are the best.
My son was brought here from ICU, and I did a tour. I was impressed. however, days after my son arrived here, the care that they said they provided was not being provided this is what he looks like. I asked for specific things to be done, pillows for his arms boots on his feet, etc. however, nothing has been done according to what I asked. Even the notes that I left on his medical board have been erased this is how they treat their "family members"!!? I've been waiting for a supervisor for over an hour now .... I'm EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED
My son was placed in the ICU unit here, the first day of visiting I walked in to visit with my son to find him choking on his liquids coming out of his mouth, I yelled to the day time nurses , an no response so I yelled louder an snapped my fingers to get thier attention and they say we don't listen to snaps, well do your freaking job an I wouldn't have to snap my fingers at you, day shift head nurse and the nurse under her are the laziest, workers. Every time we visit, he is dirty, and nothing has been done, night shift on the other hand has more heart for thier patients, Don't let your loved one come to this place
