They're never opened, inventory is confusing, staff is rude unless you're of indigenous decent lady bullied me while in the store for not having native roots, but I have Cherokee in my blood?, the new address is not updated online, no one answers the phone. Someone else needs to open a metaphysical store downtown because this place is wildly un put together. Edit- if you're of African decent, advertise as soley that rather than confusing other REAL spiritualists then being rude to them when they come in. You can be very spiritual without being African. I have heavy Irish roots and am also a practicing Shaman. Just shame on this store and how undeservingly stuck up they are.

The misappropriation of different cultural practices is really,,, uncomfortable at the very least. And uninformative for sure. It’s a cute shop, which is why I gave it two stars, but be wary of what you buy there and how much merit you give the information you see there

I can't narrow down just one thing that I think Kindred Spirits got RIGHT. For my very first experience it was AMAZING, WONDERFUL, PLEASANT, EDUCATIONAL! I felt right at home. For someone who suffers with anxiety, everything in that place was calming. To top it off I visited Kindred Spirits on June 17th Juneteeth which I will now mark as my day of emancipation from condemnation and any other negative energy that has been weighing me down. I give kudos to RJ Walker for educating me on my purchase, my purpose, and my passion. It was a second healing session after my initial Reiki session. RJ is very knowledgeable, down to earth, and has the best positive energy that anyone would be attracted to. I definitely felt that we were KINDRED spirits! I know that there is so much more to learn after one visit but just that visit alone gave me positive vibes and a new outlook on the next steps of my journey to healing, spiritual growth, maturity, positivity, and more. I call this place a Healing Haven!

Kindred Spirits just might be the most innovative space in the Winston-Salem Downtown Arts District. A constantly changing array of spirit-infused artwork inspires and delights the viewer. Completely original and one-of-a-kind apparel, accessories, and wall art are for sale. Shamans, seers, and readers are available to guide you back to yourself. Antonina Whaples and her business partner have made KS ready for life after COVID and far beyond. It is a safe space for community healing, love, and justice.

Y'all are never open when you say you will be. Update. In response to your reply I want you to know that my expectations of a business being open when they say they will be, is not unreasonable. What's unreasonable is when the website says you'll be open at 12. Upon arriving the sign on the door said you'll open at 1pm. After some shopping, myself and a group of other people waited outside the shop until 1:20pm. Not keeping to your word and not putting the customers first is quite disrespectful. However, I do understand that things in life come up. However, this has been consistent and therefore, has lost my business. I wish you all the best in your move and with future business. This is a customer review, not a personal attack. I do wish you all the very best.

I love shopping at Kindred Spirits! I always find the best incense and special gifts and crystals and candles. I have really enjoyed watching this shop and business grow and evolve over the years. I've been a regular at Kindred Spirits for years and have watched this place grow, evolve, and redesign itself time and time again, and every visit I feel like there's something new, something unique, something otherworldly that stands out above any other magical supply shop that I have been to. I absolutely love this place. The staff is wonderfully knowledgeable and engaging, experts in their craft, and will help you find exactly what you need. The staff is knowledgeable and always help me with whatever I need and being friendly and kind when I ask so many questions. This is a must go to stop when I visit home since moving away 7 years ago.
