the environment in the salon is unlike any other i have ever been in. the decor is adorable and all of the stylists are so friendly. it just feels very warm and inviting rather than sterile like some salons. lizzie did my balayage and not only did she do an incredible job but it was the quickest hair appointment of my life. definitely recommend trying pink rhino out!
Hey everyone! I visited Pink Rino for the first time yesterday. Elise was my stylist and I already booked my next appointment! I went in with the desire to start embracing my natural curls, that I have been flat ironing away for years. While getting a new haircut is always a little unsettling for most people, I also have a lot of sensory issues around getting my hair cut. Without Elise even knowing that, she was actually extremely thorough in describing to me what she was doing and why. Her ability to communicate in that way took both the anxiety and overwhelming sensory aspects down dramatically. To be fair, the entire environment here is REALLLY GOOD for anyone with sensory needs. It's not too loud, too bright and the many plants were a comfort for me. Very grounding and mellow. Since neither Elise or I really knew what we were getting ourselves into with my curls, she took length off little by little and after the first blow dry, I personally didn't feel cute in the cut. This is where Elise and her personality has formed a life long customer! As a person with a lot of anxiety, it's very difficult for me to mention if I'm not fully satisfied with something. But when I hinted at maybe wanting to switch it up, she took extra time to understand what I wasn't happy with and we worked together to come up with a solution. I will always appreciate any person with her ability to not just take some criticism but also keep the same curiosity and compassion for what I personally wanted out of my cut. From beginning to end she made me so comfortable with the process. And all of that doesn't even cover her level of skill! Don't think just because I was a little unhappy at first means she didn't give me exactly what I originally asked for, she did. And she did it well! In addition to that, all of the adjustments we made, just perfected it. She genuinely has an amazing skill level that clearly comes from a place of passion for what she does and compassion for her clients needs. If you're looking to add layers in a way that is subtle and beautiful. Or you need help finding a cut that perfectly fits your face, or you need a mellow, under-stimulating environment with gentle but fun vibes, Pink Rino is the place and Elise is your girl! I am so excited to head back and have her add some highlights for me to help me reach our discussed goals!
Eloise executed the exact color/ style I was looking for! She is very detailed/ thorough/ ask questions to ensure your desired results and had a nice demeanor! Highly recommend will be a permanent client! Very welcoming environment as well!Service: Hair coloring

Alexandria did an AMAZING job. I went in for a major change and wanted a lot of length cut off. She was great, explaining my different options and the whole process along the way. Erica is absolutely one of the most talented, creative and beautiful people I’ve ever met!! She welcomed me as a new client two years ago after my beloved stylist passed away. From the first appointment, Erica was kind, open and hysterically funny. She listens and makes realistic suggestions that are age appropriate and beautiful. My hair was a over processed mess. After two appointments, my hair/ confidence was transformed thanks to Erica’s thoughtful, brilliant approach. There are plenty of flashy, posh salons in our area. Lizzie is my absolute favorite hair dresser! She does a phenomenal job getting even color coverage and right the tone of blonde! I switched up the color to red this time around and she did my hair justice. I do not mind traveling to see her because I trust her to do a job no one else can! Love this place!! Cool place/atmosphere & great staff especially Stacey, so awesome, she did such an amazing job on my haircut & style & teaching me how to style it!
