"The Owenby family, 6 brothers, have built King’s Holly Haven RV Park on the last 11 acres of property purchased by their grandfather Lewis M. King in 1928. Mr. Lewis M. King and his wife Frances Whaley King raised their family of 15 on this property. The last 11 acres of the original tract became property of Nora Belle King and T. Lee Swede Owenby, the parents of the 6 brothers and one sister Susan, now deceased. In 1997 the 6 brothers, Jim, Jack, Bill, Ed, George and Jerry decided to open a campground with a family atmosphere, quality facilities and friendly staff so that the stay off all our campers is one filled with fun and enjoyment."

We stayed on Memorial Day weekend. Staff was extremely nice and professional. The campground was clean and well maintained. Campsites was closer together than I usually like but it was still manageable. They don’t have designated fire pits on the camp sites, you have to get a fire ring from the office. There’s not many available so if you like containing your campfires maybe bring one of your own. Only real draw back to this campground for us was they have several permanent campers. That said it’s not like most places who allow extended stays. All the permanent sites was well kept and not cluttered with stuff. Overall we would definitely come back if our other campgrounds in the area are booked.
Super nice campground. Very well maintained. Staff are very friendly. Best prices we found being close to everything. Sites are level with gravel and each site has concrete patio. Nearby activities: Very close to the Island. Noteworthy details: Campground very clean and well kept. Staff are super friendly.
This is a great, clean and quiet park right next to everything. The price is more than reasonable for the area and the management is extremely helpful and they work hard to make your stay enjoyable. We will stay here again!
If u have rv work done do not use East Tennessee repair and restoration if u do u have a registered sex offender working on your rv and around your kids Maurice VickersRooms: 5/5
Trees need trimming and spots are too close. Neighbors across the street had to move thier car so I could squeeze into my spot. Staff seemed disinterested in trimming branches that were only 11 feet off the road. I do not like driving my rig through trees.
Pleasant experience! Nice clean campground, nice site, management friendly and reasonable prices Definitely recommend!Rooms: 5/5
Nice little place to park the camper. The spots are a little tight but it's also in a desirable area so I understand. The playground is small but our 4 year old didn't care. She loved it. The dog walk by the river is shady and a nice place to walk. It's not a long walk but you can continue south along the river a little bit and take a beaten trail into the neighboring community park area. Wifi was spotty but it was good enough to catch up on emails at night with a VPN. We used the laundry mat and it isn't expensive to use. ' Overall I recommend this place if you're looking for an inexpensive place to setup a camper to leave and have fun in the area. And the staff was incredibly helpful and nice. Very good customer service and communication. The location is very convenient but the driveway is on a slight angle to the east. If you're arriving with a long rig from the west on Wears Valley Road I recommend passing it up, turn around in a parking lot, and entering from the east. Much more long rig friendly from that direction.
Recommend only old people going there. They are strict and do not appreciate young there at allLocation: 5/5
Great location, easy access to pretty much everything and nice quiet park.Service: 5/5
RV sites are too crammed. Got help from fellow campers but not from the staff. The pool was next to the dumpster, so the flies were everywhere. They should relocate the dumpster. Nearby activities: There are lots to do nearby but not on the actual RV Park itself.
