The service was great, food was also great and the cinnamon rolls are some of the best we have ever had. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for breakfast!
First time eating at this restaurant, wasn’t very busy! I ordered the turkey club sandwich with fries. My spouse really enjoyed the coconut cream pie : I wouldn’t mind to go back, and try something else when I make another trip to Altoona.
I had the steak & eggs with a Belgian waffle on the side. It was the highlight of my day! A sat there and ate every bite! Delicious! The waffle actually overshadowed the steak. A pleasant surprise. My cousin said her pancakes were very good as well.
My mother & I very much enjoyed our lunch. I will definitely be back!!
Eggs Benedict and chicken fried steak are 2 of favorites. New menu with some changes from the new Californian owner. The wait staff here is always pleasant and has a lot of hussel to keep you satisfied. After Sub-Zero temps then a quick warm up, the roof is leaking and needs replaced, hope this happens sooner than later.
The service is excellent and the food is delicious. My only complaint is that they changed the recipe of the Frownie Brownie, compared to when I was little. I had a Morning, Noon & Night melt twice once from restaurant, once from delivery and both were scrumptious. Definite go to place for a special occasion or family outing.
Wonderful. Got Cheddar Broccoli soup & a Grilled Cheese sandwich. Fantastic! Asked the waitress for a cherry vanilla coke. She said they had cherry coke, but she could add vanilla flavoring. PERFECT. The service was wonderful. The waitress, whose name I didn't get, was very kind & cheerful. The food was outstanding. As I was traveling through, I don't know if I'll get there again, but if I do, I will DEFINITELY go back. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them.
Food was great and service was friendly and my drink stayed full.
So 2 hrs in my 4 1/2 hrs drive home, stopped to get a much needed breakfast, food was great a home style cooking, so when ready to pay my bill someone covered my tab. Thank You!!! #usmilitary #usaf
Felt like home when I walked in, as if everyone knew your name. Very friendly people and wait staff. Ordered the hat trick and it was an excellent breakfast for it's value. Great camaraderie with some of the other guests eating there. They had the cinnamon swirl bread for sale so I bought one. I am planning on moving to the Altoona area very soon and absolutely will be coming back more frequently for sure.
