Great little spot with a boat ramp, fishing dock, playground, and plenty of parking. Open 24/7 and very clean an well maintained. Playground: Nice little play set that's in great shape with seating for parents to watch their kids. Picnic area: Plenty of picnic tables, covered and uncovered.
Nice park, it's really pretty! There are four cats that stay there, all have clipped ears. One seems nearly dead though, it's got a torn up face and ear nad acts very weak. I'm trying to find a way to report it to a local rescue service, may update if I find someone who could help.
What seems to be a open 24hr public boat access ramp with dock and all the amenities one could wish for. I stopped in one morning to catch a sunrise on Thanksgiving morninggotta be thankful ya know!: and I was not disappointed! Even if your fortunate enough to get a shot on coastal Highway of sunrise/sunset…the power lines get in the way of your pic. I recommend the dock. I’m gonna stop back in spring to see where sun is positioned in sky!
A Beautiful Public Access spot hidden away in a small residential area. Great spot for a day trip. Have a small barbecue at the provided grills.bring your own materials. A swimming hole, though I don't know the legality of swimming here. A small nature trail for a nice walk along the water. Very pretty and serene. Hidden Gem...
Growing up just a few miles from Kings Ferry it's always been a go to spot for my river access needs. Its boat ramp provides a secure way to get your boat or watercraft of choice in the Geeche. There's plenty of trailer parking, a public restroom, and a nice little park for the hanging out with the kids. I can't say much for the swimming hole as I've not checked it out since I was young but there is access to swimming. With Loves Seafood next door, after a day on the water you can help yourself to some fresh seafood and cold beer.
On the Ogeechee. Pretty nice. The playground isnt as big as a few others we've been too but the park is well kept and pretty big. There's an area where you can bring your dog, a boat ramp, a lighted shelter, there are restrooms and a nice dock that you can fish from. Also, Love's restaurant is right beside it.
Always love catching the sunset on this bridge over the Ogeechee river as I ride back to the house on my bike. So inspiring.
Good place for gathering I spend very good time with friends
Nice since the redo. Great spot to fish,,put a boat into the Ogeechee, playground equipment and restrooms. Nice place for a picnic. Please do not let your kids in the water without supervision,,we do have gators from time to time,,it is coastal Ga! ENJOY!!
I love this place, I take my dog here and let him swim. The only reason I'm giving it a three stars is because there is sign when you come in that clearly states dogs must be on a leash at all times, but people don't care. Sooo, be careful when you take your dog there may be loose dogs. Also, it's like a cat dropping site, there are a bunch of stray cats here and I've seen people feeding them...
