Friendly and helpful staff with a good selection and prices for work boots and shoes
Bought twisted X work boots from here and they fell apart within 3 months of having them. Showed the owner what they were doing and she wouldn’t let us exchange for another pair. DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING ANY SHOES FROM THEM!
this was always my go to for shoes, but selection for adult women has become poor. very few sizes available for different styles. still great for men's and work shoes
Best prices on great brands and even special order larger sizes. Incredible staff and environment and a great selection of sock boot oils and other things only place I go for my boots
Great experience. Called ahead to see if they had the type of work boot I was looking for and upon arrival they had set out every boot I might be interested in. Caroline spent a lot of time with me and made sure everything was perfect. Huge selection and awesome staff. Best experience in 20 years of buying work boots.
This is a lovely store that stocks high quality foot ware, among other useful apparel. High quality merchandise for an average consumer. The staff is available and is always willing to be quite helpful.
My husband went to buy work boots today.I got the vibe that they thought we were thiefs. Asking for our ID when we checked out but not asking for the couple in front of us. We are young, but that doesn't mean we can't afford to buy a pair of boots and honestly i just thought I had that vibe but as soon as we got in the car my husband told me he felt the same and if I would of known that we would of walked out of there instead of buying anything. We usually go places closer to where we live but he wanted to go here this time. Almost an hour away to be treated like we were going to steal from them the whole time.. We spent $300 and was treated like a thief the whole time. I understand some people are thieves but if you treat all customers like that, especially new customers you make people feel uncomfortable and for that we probably won't be back unfortunately.
Kipling is not just a shoe store it's an experience. This area used to have many shoe factories. Though they don't do that for the general public any more they are a specialty shoe store. It's an odd mix. They are BIG on work shoes and boots for men and women! They have shoes that are size 15 and smaller and maybe larger. They have one back section where all the Amish and Menonites buy their shoes. Did you know such a place existed? They sell Minnetonka moccasins and other unusual footwear. They have lots of running and athletic shoes. What they don't have is dress shoes, particularly for women. Prices are modest. I where size 15 and probably have almost a dozen options. And these are good shoes like Clark's, Nun Bush, etc.
Nice selection and the staff was friendly enough. I kinda got the car salesman feeling. Checked in too much. Kept telling me they "will be right over here when you need me" and not move far enough away.
Knowledgable and friendly staff, great selection of all shoes, but definitely work boots. I thought pricing was in-line with other retailers. They carry boots and products made in the USA as well.
