Sarah did an outstanding job helping me to get fitted in FLORIDA! Accommodating my crazy schedule despite never coming in for a fitting, they are highly professional and helpful for purchasing a suite!
Overall terrible experience regarding customer service from one particular employee. Unfortunately we have had negative experiences with her on numerous occasions. I believe her name is Alberta. My fiancé needed to get fitted and she didn’t accurately measure him. She was rude, condescending, and unhelpful - as if it were his fault that he needed assistance. During one visit, she talked about him negatively to another customer when he turned away. She has also mocked him directly to his face. It has left a very bitter taste and I’m not sure we will be back to Milton’s. They would do well to treat their customers with respect at the very least.
Bought a suit for a wedding and had to return the pants. Had to chase them down for a refund for nearly 6 months. Save some time and shop somewhere that has better service.
Getting fitted with a suit for a wedding. Tim was super helpful, knowledgable, and made getting what i needed a great experience!
Unhappy with this store. Have 3 weddings this summer and really needed a new suit. They were very nice during the process, fitted me for the suit and told me I would need the cuffs on the ankles and wrists tailored by them and the suit would be ready in 3 weeks. I went back after 3 weeks to pick up the suit; the pants had not been adjusted at all and were still 4 inches too long. They grabbed a pair off the rack that were 4 inches shorter that fit right. Why I wouldn’t have been given those pants to begin with rather than charging me for the cost of tailoring them? Even though they gave me a different pair of pants off the rack they didn’t give me a refund for the tailoring of the ankle cuffs! I paid for a service that was not done. They told me the fit on the jacket was perfect and not being too experienced with how suits should look I believed them. After looking at the photos from the first two weddings the wrist cuffs are way too long and I don’t think they had been adjusted at all. I paid for tailor service on a jacket and pants that were never done. A new suit is really expensive and I wish I went somewhere else.
Milton's is the men's clothing store. Cindy is a master stylist and a wonderful salesperson. She helped me select a post-COVID wardrobe from suit to casual wear. Wonderful! 8/5/2023 - My son and I visited Milton's today. He needs a suit for an upcoming wedding. Again, Cindy was our salesperson, whose patience, clothing knowledge, and dealings with the seasoned tailors shows how the Milton's team works together.
Great selection, reasonable prices, professional help. They do alterations in house.
DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!! Forget the other reviewers that have given this place a good rating. My brother and I ordered suits 2 months in advance for his wedding and the people never contacted us and lied that they had the suits ready for pick up. The day comes to pick up and they LOST OUR ORDER! John the blonde guy the spends too much time on his hair lied over the phone and threw words into our mouths when we got there. Their lousy service and over priced suits aren't worth your time. I have no idea how these guys are still in business and why they are in the industry. I would give this place negative stars if I could. DO YOURSELVES A FAVOR AND STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.
Terrible experience. Was treated rudely and when I asked if I could change pant size woman said "no the pants and jacket come as one you look fine wear a belt" the pants are a 38 and I am a 32 Never shopping here again and would not recommend this store for any wedding groups. I heard a lot of other members in the wedding party dealt with the same rudeness and needed major alterations in order for their suit to fit.
In 2022, it’s difficult to find any store with any level of service. Milton’s in Chestnut is the exception. The service is stellar. Cindy and Tim are exceptional. After a couple years not wearing anything “dressy” and some pandemic weight; I needed clothes for 2 weddings and another formal event. Cindy was my Sherpa through the process. She helped me pull together some great clothes that make me feel like a million bucks. Tim has helped me in the past and again helped on a fitting or two when Cindy was unavailable. I can’t think of any other place I could have gone for this value and level of service. Thank you Cindy and Tim. Ted
