Fostering developmental competence, improving community relationships, and closing socioeconomic disparities facing today’s youth. KJM Youth Foundation serves as an advocate to assist today’s youth with pursuing and achieving relevant and attainable goals.
KJM affirms the philosophy, "when stepping up, is never put down." We believe it is our moral obligation to be “my brother’s keeper,” and that we must embrace, encourage, and exalt our fellow man.
KJM Youth Foundation strongly believes in the {SET} an example philosophy, “See One, Each one, Teach One.” Our core values and principles surround this concept in the areas of: individual and societal accountability, academic excellence, and KJM’s expectation of reciprocity of the {SET} philosophy.
Our projected goals are to work in partnership with other youth advocate programs, not only at a local level, our mission is to also develop a viable network of community relationships abroad. KJM also strives to provide youth work referrals, scholarships for astute students, leadership workshops, professional development training, and youth prevention programs.
Our mission is to create a culturally diverse youth network, promote positive peer social-psychological development, and facilitate our youth with making healthier lifestyle choices.
