Kmart

Very sad to see the place go. I wonder what will take it's place. The cashiers were extremely helpful and kind! The prices were fantastic for shoes. The manager and two customer service workers were very rude and entitled though shouting at two people in the store and threatening to call the cops for no reason. Other than that, it was a great experience!

We came all the way from Little Rock, Arkansas because we wanted to shop at a Kmart. We needed a road trip, and it was worth every mile and penny. The prices are great, and the staff are some of the nicest people in the world.

Sad. Very empty store. Not much to choose from. Little Caesars is closed. No summer apparel but plenty of winter stuff to choose from including Christmas 2019 items.

A well stocked Kmart. Nice store. They still have a Kmart Pharmacy, and they have a Little Caesars Pizza Station inside!

Great store and service. Sad it’s closing

This store is amazing with the sales they have! I like the fact that some items will scan on sale on the price checker and you didn't think they were on sale. It's these little things that make this Kmart great! I wish they would have kept the cafe open so hopefully management changes their minds and reopens it for nostalgia reasons. I loved their freshly popped popcorn while shopping which is why I hope they reopen it! I am rooting for this store because of the amazing staff and customer service! Oh and don't forget the new stuff they get in daily. Keep up the great work Marshall Big Kmart!

This Kmart definitely won’t see 2022. The place really lacks in merchandise. The store is getting ready for future closure. The Pharmacy is still open which is good but for how long? The store is really clean and the Lil Caesars pizza is blocked off. The Lions and Tigers merchandise is a 1 star. R.I.P to the electronics section.

Sadly it's true that a lot of shelves were bare, but I did manage to find what I was looking for. They had a good supply of cleaning and paper products, more than Target and some other stores. Found a couple of cute tops. The store is clean and the lady checking me out was nice. Hopefully I can do some Christmas shopping here later on.

The last K-mart within reasonable driving distance of Illinois. Took the day off and made the 4-hour drive to Marshall. The staff was very nice, which seriously takes some of the bite out of an 8-hour roundtrip. They don't have an electronics section nor the large clearance section I remember K-mart for. They did have some items I wanted and needed and I happily gave them the cash I would have given Wal-mart, which hasn't displayed any concept of customer service in a decade. Their jewelry was discounted some of it 75% and I got a nice opal necklace. Wanted to get Little Ceasars but one of their employees wasn't wearing a mask. Their fountain pop machine was empty anyway. Still, if I can find a way to cut drive down to 2.5 hours one way I'd like come back a couple of times a month. Or they could just bring K-mart back to my hometown... 18 years of enduring Wal-marts progressive decline. Ughh...

I am so sad to lose KMart. Great sales before they close but it will a large empty spot in Marshall. It was such a joy to not have to drive somewhere in order to get most of the items needed. It was a bittersweet shopping experience.
