This is the only Kmart Ive ever visited and all I can say is ah very nice They have all the same selections that you might find at a Target or Wal Mart with a few added options. The first to catch my eye is the big and tall section which surprised me as it was actually pretty substantially stocked. Also I noticed that each section ie automotive, camping, etc, seemed very deliberately stocked with items that you would actually want to buy without having to wade through a sea of junk. All in all a nice shopping experience. I just wish there were one closer to where I live.
It's always kind of depressing walking into this store. They carry non slip shoes, the primary reason I ever go in. They also have a good selection of home stuff towels, bedding, furniture. Is usually not very crowded so I can get in and out pretty quickly. Staff is always friendly
It's a Kmart. What else can you say. It's rarely busy, causing you to wonder how Kmart is still in business. I guess the positive, though, is that with the lack of people going there, you can get a close parking spot, there are no crowded aisles, and checkouts are relatively quick. And prices are comparable to other department stores.
it used to be better but they have the same amount of floor space but now sell washers and other big items and less of regular items. As far a clothes go I haven't ever really liked their clothes.
Really a hit and miss here. Don't always stock everything you need. If you see it and like it you better get it cause next time it will be gone and they don't restock it. Electronics is a joke. Better to go to Walmart or Target. And if you have a rewards card make sure to ask for your rewards they don't tell you that you have rewards on there. I did end up asking once and my $15 receipt was free. :
Save me a lot of greens for the holidays. Sadly due to Kmart closing... Going to miss Kmart and many a year memories of early cells and shopping for the holiday, do to only store open on Thanksgiving... Thank-you Kmart
Got a good Deal on a replacement Gas Clothes Dryer thankfully in stock! Unfortunately couldn't use combined discount with emailed Sears sale especially a Bummer since Sears in SLO closed... But all in all, Ok!
Kmart will always be Walmart's little sister but this Kmart is pretty darn good. They got a good selection of shoes the Garden area is pretty good in the store is always clean. It's not their fault that you get 5 million coupons when you buy something at the register. As far as Kmart's go you can go to this one and not go out of town to Walmart for most things. It's got a big parking lot in the strip mall so you don't have any trouble parking.
It's a good store but it's very understaffed. I feel sorry for the people that work there. Super long lines all the time. They have a lot of products and clearance prices are great.
This is a nice K Mart but when I was there last week it was 5 days from closing. So sad. Atascadero needs a large discount/variety store otherwise we have to drive clear to Paso or SLO!!! I hope at least a Walmart is going in there soon.
