The only complaint I would have is that the wood surfaces were all sticky and our camp site was ash and mud. The staff were excellent and some of the other campers made it unsafe because of speeding around the campground. Our neighbors were excellent and we actually plan to camp with them again. Great meeting new people.Rooms: 2/5
This campground is fairly quiet, depending on your stay during the week. My family has been camping here for years and haven't had any issues. Restrooms and shower's are 'community' except for the 'main' restroom/shower area. Everything is kept clean they clean all areas daily and the rest is up to patrons to not be scumbags leaving everything a mess. I have not had any issues with this campground and would recommend it to anyone.
Campground is clean, but lacks upkeep. Sites are not close to being level and are grown over by grass and weeds. No gravel on sites and camp roads are dirt. The main road is right off of several sites and no attempt has been made for provide a sound barrier or even safety protection with fencing or trees. Showers and bathrooms are rough and very old. Save yourself and camp at J&D campground that is the same price, has a pool and miniature golf, and is much more updated.
Very nice staff. The campground is well maintained for the large volume of campers they have during the season. Shower and restroom facilities are very basic. Our family enjoys going back to Lake Glory every year.Service: 4/5
Love this campground, we’ve been coming for the last couple of years for the truck show in July. However, I’m not sure whose bright idea it was to tar the roads in the campground on a Thursday when a lot of people are coming in and it’s 90 degrees out. Our truck and camper tires are still covered in tar and stones and scratched the hell out of both from flying up while driving. I hope the owner sees this and thinks twice next time.
I bought two campsites in the electric/water tent site area for myself, my husband, my friend and her husband. Kozmo 33 and 35. It is $65 per night. The sites were largely unsuitable for tent camping as it had rained and water was pooled all over both sites in random spots. It was very muddy and swampy and no elevated areas for a tent. Every place we walked was mud. There were barely any trees for properly hanging things or string lights. There was one fire ring between both sites and we found ours across the way at a whole other site. Luckily we were sharing the one ring so it didn’t matter. Children from surrounding sites kept walking/running through ours at all hours of the night with no intervention from the parents. They started hollering around 7 AM even though quiet hours go until 8 AM, so no sleeping in for us. The bathrooms did not have locks on the doors in the main bathroom for women, the individual toilet stalls were not very clean. Upon returning from Knoebels, my friend’s canopy was completely destroyed. Everything inside was knocked over to one side. Her table, totes, food, support bars on canopy were bent. Apparently wind blew it over according to surrounding campers but it looked more like someone had backed into it/ransacked it. There were quite a few large totes and objects that would’ve kept it secure and there were other light items around that were not “blown away” and nobody else’s site seemed to have an issue. It seemed suspect. In any case, we were supposed to stay Friday and Saturday night but packed up and left Saturday night and received a refund for both sites at least for that night. I was super disappointed with the maintenance of this campground and will not plan to return. I am not sure how Knoebels affiliates themselves with this campground as I’ve camped at Knoebels before and had a positive experience. Not sure I’ll return to Knoebels either.
Great family campground. Fishing, arcade for the kids and good food at the shop. If you forget anything at home the camp shop most likely has it. Constant service for the bathrooms by the staff. Everyone was very helpful and kind. Will be back for sure Nearby activities: Knoebels amusement park Safety: Felt very safe
Bed bugs in wall of cabin. They refunded my money without me having to ask. The amount of bugs we saw. They have been there a while. They didn’t show their face until we turned the lights off and went to bed. Then they all crawled out of the walls.Rooms: 1/5
