We are local to the area and wanted a fun place to stay for our son's birthday weekend. Upon arrival, our site was not the site that was originally booked. Andrea handled our check-in process and she went over the top to make sure that we got into the site that was preferred. She had a great attitude and continued to impress us the way she carried herself and how accommodating she was for us. Once we pulled up to our spot, we were even more thankful that she was able to move us around because it was an amazing end cap spot with patio, fireplace, swing chair, and a great little grass patch. We made a point to go and chat with her the next day just thanking her for her hospitality! As the week went on we met her husband Mike who was also a joy. He was incredibly friendly and my boys made great friends with him when he would drive around the property. He even spent some extra time getting to know us and our Labs we brought camping. It is not often that you book a campground where the staff makes a huge impact on your stay. The team that KOA has in place at this location is amazing and it really brought a whole other level to our stay at the campground. Thank you again Andrea and Mike! Hope to see you both again real soon.
I have been to several KOAs and this one was by far the best. Sites were a little tight, especially to get in and out, but not as bad as some I have dealt with. Bathrooms were nice and immaculate, pool was large enough and staff was super friendly. Only request would be increase the temp of the hot tub. If I ever visit the area again, I will definitely stay here.
The campground is large and is beautifully landscaped throughout the park. The laundry room has commercial 2 and 3 load washers. You do need to use an app but it is super easy and convenient…think not having to have quarters to poke into a machine! There was a dog park, swimming pool, large screen TV under the big tent with separate areas to enjoy a fire pit with lots of seating and great rolling hills for walking! The weather was mild…I didn’t want to leave!
Best KOA I have ever been too! This is our favorite spot to stay on our RV weekends. The drive to Bodega from here is perfect. We have 4 kids and the amenities for them are amazing. Lots of things to do here. The park is beautiful and has great structures. The new front desk/store is beautiful! I am so thankful they are here!
This is a large campsite ground with a new remodeled shower rooms. They have a new laundry room here too! Large market and relaxing lounge area. Small petting zoo. Highly recommended for people who look for outdoor camp site with clean facility and reasonable pricing. They have cabin, cabin with kitchen, tent site, RV site with hook ups. Downside is the shower water is either super hot or cold and there is no warm water to shower so you need to be quick when taking shower.
I would have given this KOA a 5 star no problem except for we ended up in the VIP flush station where they come and pump your tanks once a day. They consider it full hookup but it is not. If you're not cooking a lot and don't have a big family, or are doing laundry in your rig I guess it isn't a problem. If you do fill your tanks After they have pumped you out then you have to drive to the dump station. The grounds are very clean and the staff is very friendly. Just make sure you don't get put in the VIP sewer area.
Great time at a great campground. Perfect location, wonderful staff. They deliver firewood and come around daily and clean out your tanks. Can't wait to go back. Nearby activities: Wineries, beach, and redwoods.
Very nice park with lots of things for kids. Nice quiet setting. Great place to base out of for visits to wine country and San Francisco. It would be 5 stars except for cost. $150 average per night for full hook up pull through site.Service: 5/5
Expensive for what you get. We called for our reservation for a patio end spot. They didn't tell us that there was only water and electricity. We parked and asked where the sewer hookup was. A staff member told us they come around every morning to empty your tank. Okay... Now we can't take showers in our rig, which is a negative. Then we go to take a shower, but psych the water turns straight to cold after it tricks you with a little warmth in the beginning. If you're okay with a kids park and small washing machines at 4 dollars, this place is for you. Traveled the country, been to so many KOAs and this place seemed to be something else entirely.
Pull thru sites 223-224 not practical pull thru for 45ft class A Motorcoach, had to backout. Close to public beach 15 minute walk or 3 minute drive. $10 to park close to beach. Quiet RV park. All team members I interacted with were friendly and professional.
