Nice park for an overnight. Nice layout and friendly hosts. Good WIFI. Only complaint here is the showers are small. If you are an oversized person then using the shower facilities may be an issue for you - don't drop the soap as you won't be able to bend down to pick it up! :Rooms: 5/5
Great park with lots of amenities. When we checked in, I asked if our campsite was shaded and it wasn't so I asked the manager, Tim, if it was possible to get a shaded one and he put us in a great site among the redwoods. Staff was friendly and the town was cute. Drove up Mt. Shasta to the 7000' parking lot and it was beautiful. We'd definitely stay here again.
Thanks so much for hosting my family. We are so excited about visiting all the other KOA locations. This location was very nice. Campsites are not super close together. Showers are free and the ladies in the office are so nice. We will be back.Rooms: 5/5
Beautiful setting for a quick stop. I wouldn't vacation here unless it was mostly to park and sleep without needing amenities. The main issue is having only one bathroom for the entire campground. The womens had 3 stalls and 3 showers. The bathroom was a revolving door of people and is not centrally located in the park so those camping closest to the bathroom had a non-stop conga line all the time. By 7pm, the bathroom soap and toilet paper was empty. Its definitely a noisy, busy campground that needs some refreshing. Also, be prepared for lots of dust!
This place is convenient fly located right off the main drag and has wifi service. However after you button hook in the main entrance and snake down a narrow corridor you reach the Mai. Office. Staff was nice, spots were spacious, and only complaint was how dusty it was. This place isn’t a dump by any means, but also isn’t the greatest. It’s a “it’ll do” spot and we just stayed for the night with that in mind, if you’re passing through it’s worth the stop
Don't leave anything. Not even a tablecloth because someone will steal it. Trains come on at 2:10am and I like trains. The people running the place are super sweet. My friend had her stuff stolen here too, just fyi.Rooms: 5/5
We were traveling through CA and Mount Shasta was one of our stops . I booked a site with full hook ups. This place had electric issues. We had no power and we were unable to use our air conditioner in this 104 degree weather. This place also does not enforce a quiet time, so there were children running around, screaming at midnight with loud music in the background. This was not what I expected. They have at least 12 sites with no power.
After giving them our length they put us in a short spot so we had to unload the car. We couldn't get satellite. And the owner was a jerk. His daughter was very nice.Service: 3/5
A cozy hidden place with lots of trees. Easy access off the freeway. We stayed one night it was quiet. Friendly staff and spacious campsites.Rooms: 5/5
The owners are very friendly but our friends got complaints about hanging up their clothesline. As we were told there is a policy, but i could not find one on their website. There is a pool, but its designed very loveless :- The stay was ok but for sure not one of the best KOAs.
