Customer service of Kodiak is exceptional! My purchase developed an issue and it was replaced without fuzz 6 months after I received it. The service responded quickly and solved my problem faster than I imagined. I can highly recommend this company and would choose it again if needed.
Good quality furniture and excellent customer service! When a piece of our futon was lost in a move, I called the company not really expecting to get ahold of anyone, as most customer service calls are tedious and ineffective these days. Joe answered right away and helped me identify the part that was lost. Within 20 minutes I had a tracking number and a few days later the part arrived. I didn't even pay for the shipping. Thank you Kodiak!
Amazing customer service! We moved and lost 3 screws to our bed frame. We called and explained situation and within a couple minutes we received a text saying that it was being shipped out! We got the package with a complete hardware replacement set in two days! I'm very impressed with this company especially in light of how larger and seemingly more capable companies have awful customer service.
I managed to damage not just one piece but a total of three pieces of the futon I purchased from this company. They have graciously replaced those pieces without charge and I am so appreciative to this company. It's a beautiful futon and this is a company with a staff.
Excellent customer service! After several years of owning my beloved red futon, movers lost several small parts during a recent relocation. Upon calling Kodiak, Ernesto identified the parts that were missing based on my description and promptly sent them to me. This is the type of legendary full-cycle customer service that you may hear about but rarely experience! Great product and great service -- I will be perusing the Kodiak catalog for my next piece of furniture, for sure!
I ordered a futon through Amazon, fulfilled by Kodiak furniture. First, the actual product is excellent. It's high quality and well made. I highly recommend their products. Second, their customer service team is excellent. The frame and the mattress came in 2 separate boxes, but Amazon only gave me tracking information for 1 of the boxes. I received the frame on one day, and Amazon essentially told me that it was completely delivered. I was concerned! Was the mattress lost or not coming? Right away, I contacted Kodiak directly, asking their customer service about the tracking for the 2nd box. Within a few hours, Kodiak's customer service team responded and helped me get the tracking for the 2nd box, which was arriving only a day after the first. I was pleasantly surprised how quickly and efficiently their customer service team helped me with my questions. Thanks Kodiak!
Seems like I’m not the only one to have shipping problems with this company. I ordered a $500 futon from them off Overstock and when it came all the boxes were torn open, the mattress was halfway out of the box. Everything had holes in it. The little box of screws was broken and everywhere. I was lucky to find all the little parts. I’ve never seen such an absolute careless unprofessional company to deliver a product in that shape. It looked like a hobo had went through it. I will never be ordering anything off these guys again.
I ordered a futon frame from WalMart.com to put in my loft area and it arrived a week early. I started unpacking the shipment and it was meticulously packed - the hardware was impeccably packed. The instructions were perfect, and although it did take quite some time to put together the end result was amazing. We love the futon and the only reason Im on this website, I googled the company to see where it was, because I knew what I was putting together was solid wood, a piece that will last for many years, solid and sturdy, and a really superior product to recent purchases I have made from CHINA. Thanks Kodiak furniture. I will definitely be purchasing more from you!
Avoid this company like the plague!!! I ordered a futon from this company through Amazon..SIX HUNDRED DOLLARS..it showed up, I lugged everything to where it had to go and no mattress, The most important part. I tried to call this company's customer service and there is no sort of answering machine, just a fax noise or beeping. Can't speak to anybody. Have to wait until they are open. They must all be out the door at exactly their closing time, or before. Amazon says I would have to wait 2 weeks for a replacement, or try to get these guys to send me a mattress, in which I cannot get anyone on the phone and will have to wait until tomorrow just to even talk to someone, assuming anybody answers. Seriously...a mattress is bigger than a human being HOW do you miss that? Now I have these giant boxes in my living room that I can do nothing with because I have no idea what is going on. I ordered on line for the CONVENIENCE of delivery. I should have just rented a truck and went to the local furniture store and got it which would have been equally as expensive with more work, but at least I would have all the parts. I will be tripping over these giant boxes all night as I have nowhere to put them but in my living room which is very small hence why I wanted one with storage to begin with . When the mattress does arrive, who knows when, I will have to return to this project and make more time for it and hope I do not fall and break my neck on these boxes during this wait period. The shipping department is careless, and does not pay attention. If it is going to take more than a day to get a mattress on this thing, I will request a refund, they can foot the bill to pick it up, and I will give my money to someone who will provide me with the complete product. I have never been more angry in my life. I will write a follow up review on the resolution
the 1 star reviews should be directed at the 3rd party delivery company not the supplier .The delivery people can either handle things with care or not so much , simply note on your forms that you have received damaged products .
