At one time this place used to have a lot of lakes and small ponds whereas as people would be more interested in buying colorful koi fish for their small ponds and lakes, however recently many people have chosen to let their ponds and lakes dry up so there isn't as much demand for koi fish as there was in the past. Therefore it is now a struggling business.

I always thought two things dindn't belong in the desert: flowers, seafood, an now I guess I have to add fish farms.
