Koinonia Conference Grounds

About

Tucked away in the giant Redwoods of California's Santa Cruz Mountains, Koinonia Conference Grounds is just the place for weekend getaways and weeklong summer camp adventures.

Description

Vision: To see lives changed for Christ
Statement of Faith: We believe the Scriptures as verbally inspired of God and inerrant in the original writing; in one God, eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; in the virgin birth and deity of the Lord Jesus Christ; in the fall of man and his need of regeneration; that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins as a substitutionary sacrifice and that all who believe in Him are justified on the grounds of His shed blood; in the body resurrection, ascension and visible personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Mission

Koinonia Conference Grounds exists to bring glory to the Lord Jesus Christ by providing quality facilities, services, and programs to promote a vital relationship with God in all people both locally and globally.

Awesome camp! The food was great, the hikes were awesome, cool cabins, and more fun stuff. The fifth-grade classes came here for Outdoor Ed, so schools should definitely think about coming here!!!
Regarding middle school camp...kids are rebellious about the food. say it is bad. some reports of getting sick. requires the kids bring their own food. not right considering the cost of camp. been this way for 8 years that we know of.
My church tries to come every year and it’s always great. Only thing about this time was supposedly there was a new cook and most people I talked to agreed that the food was worse than previous years
It may seem much smaller than some other sites at first-- but they actually easily host a group of 200+. Food is delicious; awesomely family style; you just take a sit at prepared table as friendly young staff serve you the food with smiles. I have been so blessed by their hospitality, that it got me eager to advertise, leave a review on Google Map for the first time!
I loved that place. It was a great memory for me. It helped me make new friends and learn about God and worship him! The Food was great and I Loved being there. The only problem for me was the sleeping issue for me. I Kept crying cause I missed my family ;-;
I stayed here for a few days with an outside group for a retreat. The facilities are kept in clean well working condition. Food was just so so and individuals that were pre-identified as having special dietary needs were accommodated but had to ask at ever meal period and items didn't appear to be readied at the same time. Having no access to cell signal is a great plus if you are a participant... and luckily the pay phone allowed us to connect to 911 when needed. A few nice trails right from the buildings allow you to spend time in nature too. As a no-religious person I found the few Christian relics appropriate and not overbearing many non-religious groups look to this facility.
Ive just been to here as a student. It was so fun going through the challenge trail, grandpa's flat, the grove, waterfall trail, and to rattlesnake creek. Thank you kreacher, Owl, tundra, edgewise, alpine, pangea, tahoe, cabin leaders, chickenman, other naturalists, and all the teachers who made this trip possible. Thank you Koinonia Conference Grounds for my best week of m life!!! <3 <3 <3 i cried when I left. That's how sad I was
I went here as a teenager for Church Camp. It was awesome experience. I wish I could take my family there for the experience.
went here in 5th grade for science camp. it was pretty cool. food was good.
Best summer camp ever. I only stayed for a week but I wish I could've stayed forever but since that's not possible I want to stay three weeks. Love this camp.
