Kountry Kare Learning Center

This definitely isn’t your typical daycare and what stands out about it to me is the hygiene level for the staff and kids. The entire staff wear scrubs, the children each have their own combs and toothbrushes so they will sit down after lunch and wash each child’s hands and brush their teeth. Before lunch most days they put my daughters hair up in pigtails so she’s not getting food in her hair. They get a lot of outside time here as long as the weather is within range. I think 55-85°? I’m not sure on the upper level temperature. I have witnessed at most daycares if your kid has a runny nose, they just let it run and let the kids wipe it all over their clothes and toys. Not so here. They are cleaning the kids faces and wiping noses here. There is actual care going on. It’s very clean. The staff are not overwhelmed like at most places because the teacher to student ratio is much better. I will say I think the price is higher here than your typical chain daycare but that’s because of the teacher to student ratio. It’s worth it knowing your child is safe, happy, and clean. My daughter is excited to go here every morning and see her friends. One thing - It did throw me off to see the lack of windows and full concrete floors. They explained that the concrete is easier to keep clean and the lack of windows isn’t so bad bc they’re outside a lot. I am not sure if they have lesson plans each day, I haven’t seen any. But she is learning through play and social interaction which is better at that age anyway. She is 2 and knows all her colors, can count to 7, recite the alphabet, and carry on a conversation. I am not worried about her development here at all. The owner is very selective with staff which is a good thing to me. She wants everyone to be attentive and caring and she keeps her eye out for everything. We do like it here, I think it deserves 4.5 stars but I don’t want to bump it all the way down to 4 so I will round up. Because they don’t have many recent reviews I wanted to add my experience.

No curriculum. The childcare is like babysitting. The child spends a lot of time outside running around and little time indoors learning, The staff were kind. If all you want if fun this is the place. If you want your child to be preK ready this is not the place.

Would recommend this daycare 10/10. They understand that all children are not the same and they take time to individually accommodate those with extra needs. All the staff that I have encountered have been so kind and personable. This is hands down the best daycare that Azle has. It was the best decision for my family. I am no longer overwhelmed with anxiety when I drop off my babies. I know when I leave my kids with Kountry Kare all of their needs are being met.

My two kids go this daycare and they love it! The owners are great and they will always work with you when you go thru hard times. The staff are friendly, professional and caring towards my babies and other kids
