Had a great time tubing down the river. The water feels amazing and we seen a lot of birds when we came during the week. Wish we would have brought the sunscreen with because we should have reapplied!

We put our kayaks in here to paddle with friends and enjoyed it. Nice maintained park with facilities. They rent tubes for tubers apparently you can't use your own. They also have a shuttle service for kayaks and tubers. We just paddled up and down the area. Lots of wildlife - animals and people   We got the VIP parking pass which made it awesome!! $20 was the cost I believe. It was a holiday weekend and the parking lot was full. We pulled up and parked right behind the pavilion. So convenient. Beautiful clear water! Even being crowded, we had an awesome time!

Such a relaxing time tubing down the river. Make sure to bring plenty of sunscreen because tubing time is 4 hours long. So beautiful and got to see some otters!

Is $30 per person tubing and $10hour for canoeing or kayaking. No pets allowed not even in the park area. No alcohol No drinks unless in a non-disposible container like a tumbler or reusable bottles. Last customer for tubing is at 12:45pm. There is a police half away n the will check your cooler n containers for alcohol and disposable drinks. Other that that is a nice ride.

This place was great, we put our own kayaks in here …paid the $5 fee and paddled our way up river ….I’d you’ve never been…..WOW….rainbow river is incredible and this place is a great way to check it out!! Very clean and organized facility!

We canoed down the crystal clear Rainbow River on January 7, 2022. Shared the river with a pair of Otters, lots of birds and only an occasional kayaker. Easy ride with lots to see. Perfect time of year to go is right now!

Super great hidden gem! We decided to take the family here since Rainbow Springs Park was too crazy busy. We walked up and had the entire place to ourselves. Most people use it for tubing and kayak rentals. We took a 1.5 hour kayaking adventure up the spring. It was $30 total for renting the two tandem kayaks. It was gorgeous. There were great places to swim and see turtles, fish, birds. The bathrooms were clean. We grilled out using their grills. It was perfect.

Great place to launch from. We brought our own kayaks. Note: the fee is $7 now, not $5. Really friendly workers that didn't mind a bunch of questions about the area and things to see, etc  We just parked in the lot and carried our kayaks thru the gate where you pay. They have clean bathrooms, and the launch ramp is an easy incline. We went early and there was only a couple people. Later upon return, there were quite a few people clogging up the ramp. If you're not ready to launch, please remember to wait until you are and let others get out on the water.  To the left as you launch upstream are the headsprings at Rainbow River State Park. There is a $2 fee if you want to park and walk around. I believe it's about 1.5 -2 miles.  It's beautiful and crystal clear. Downstream from KP hole you can follow the tubers and go all the way to blue run if you're up for it. It's farther than expected, maybe 4 plus miles I'd say, but just guessing.  We did see two gators individually on the bank of the river, which weren't hurting anyone and there were even some idiots with snorkels getting very close along the sides exploring but they left them alone.  All in all it was very fun just remember to bring your sunblock and a reusable water bottle. Our legs got pretty burned from being out 5 hours.

Great facilities and where we usually launch. Not far from the spring head. There's a really cool little beach kind of area where a private spring empties into the river just north, really fun place to hang out, but fills up early on weekends.

Only $5 to park and launch my kayak.  Go left upstream so you can have a relaxing paddle back.  Nice spring in the right after a ways of paddling that is beautiful sandy bottom.  You can back up to the ramp to unload ..watch out for the timing though since the park unloads many at a time.  ENJOY!
