Opened in 1993, Krause Funeral Home's National Avenue facility was completely redecorated in 2014.

Every aspect of this facility is carefully designed and decorated for your family’s optimal comfort. Nestled in a park-like setting, this space radiates warmth and serenity.

With acres of parking and a formal chapel with seating for 160 people, our New Berlin location can accommodate groups of all sizes. We offer tranquil, intimate visitation rooms that expand for larger groups.

Amenities include flat screen TVs for personalized video tributes and a stunning banquet hall with seating for 100 guests. We offer a full-service bar and can arrange a beautifully catered reception for your guests before or after the service.

We have used the services of Krause Funeral Homes for the funerals of my mom and dad. Would highly recommend them. The staff was very helpful in the planning of the funeral. On the day of the funeral we could concentrate on celebrating the life of our loved one because Krause managed the events of the day. The staff were always caring, professional, and very responsive.
Paula and her "team" did an exceptional job providing us with everything we needed, in a very caring and professional way, before, during and after my Father's funeral. Any questions or concerns were always addressed quickly. Everyone at Krause seems to take responsibility and work as a team. No passing the buck. Wonderful experience at such a sad time where we really needed things to go smoothly!
Krause is very supportive and knowledgeable guiding families through a very difficult time. I lost both of my parents within a short time frame. They were able to tailor the arrangements to meet my mom’s needs as a surviving spouse and to understand and support me as my needs were different when my mom passed. Bailey was the director I just worked with. She was fantastic. The New Berlin facility is beautiful. My dad passed prior to the Covid issues so we held a great dinner after his service at their facility. We were very happy with the service and care then and now.
My dad passed suddenly and of course it was very difficult on us all, especially my mom. Elaine and the whole Krause team in New Berlin were amazing, beginning to end! Walked us through every step and always answered any calls with questions we had. They made anything we needed possible & easy to make happen. We were so blessed to find such compassion at such a difficult time in our lives… Thank You
The people at Krause Funeral Home were so caring and comforting. Always available no matter what my needs were. They made putting my husband to rest a lot easier due to their caring attitudes.
Every step of the way, Krause provided outstanding service, attention to detail, and compassion during a difficult time. Elaine at the New Berlin location was our Funeral Director. She was professional, kind, and very organized. She guided me through the planning and our family through the service with such care. Their chapel is beautiful and our mother's funeral was perfect. A family member, who is also a pastor that has conducted several funerals, made the comment that Krause was a seamless experience and was very impressed.
Krause is a high class funeral home. Everything they do is over the top! They listen when you tell them what you want for the service, they accommodate everything that you ask for. Then during the viewing and ceremony they make it as easy as possible on you and are very helpful. If you have a celebrant do the service she will talk with your family and listen to what everyone has to say and then tell a story of your loved ones life during the service. She went above and beyond by giving me a jar of sand with sea glass and a little note in it from my son. She also had sea glass for the hundreds of people who were there to take home with them. She didn’t know our love for the beach and Seaglass until the day before the funeral and still somehow added it to the service. I have to give them 4 stars though because of the cost!! Be ready to pay $10,000.
My Mom passed recently. This is my first loss of a parent and while I tried hard to not show it I was terrified. Krause and it’s compassionate, talented, patient, and prepared team members made this experience bearable. The emotional intelligence displayed by Krause while we tried to wrap our minds around a wife and a mom suddenly gone was amazing. It can’t be easy to read people going through something like this, I know I felt like I was all over the place. How they knew what we needed without us knowing what we wanted or needed is beyond me. I am thankful that I never felt pitied, but more just led by the people who were capable of being there and keeping everything together when the world was falling apart. Everything was exactly as it should have been for Moms service. Absolutely beautiful, Even the flowers that were out of season that Mom wanted were in her spray. As scared as I was to walk into the funeral once I made it in it wasn’t scary at all surprisingly. I felt less anxious and confused and scared and broken than I had that whole week. It was oddly cathartic. Mom looked just like Mom should have looked. Like she had just gone for a nap, glasses still in her hands. Krause was exactly what was required to make it through something like this. They were there picking Mom up from the hospital, they were there while we tried to work through Mom being gone, they were at church to keep the funeral smooth and snafu free, they led us to the cemetery and stood in the rain with our family, the pastor, and the family dog while we said our farewells, they said what they needed to say and the right moment and it was sincere, and they have checked in since Moms burial to see how we are holding up and have sent us resources. Our family could not be more pleased or thankful for the support and services Krause provided for us. Thank you, thank you so much The Schroeder Family Dad, Becky, and Shannon
The Krause Funeral Home guided my husband and me when making our final plans and when my husband passed away his final wishes were smoothly and sensitively put into action. They treated me in a loving and comforting way. They will treat your loved one as caring as they did mine.
