Opened in 2013, the Krause Funeral Home Brookfield location has everything on premise for the optimum convenience of the families we serve.

We have a cremation selection room displaying urns and alternative containers, as well as a separate selection space for caskets and burial vaults.

Our arrangement rooms are comfortable and warm so you and your loved ones will feel relaxed.

The formal chapel seats 180 people, and our tranquil, intimate visitation rooms expand to accommodate larger groups if needed.

Every aspect of this facility is carefully designed and decorated for your family’s superior comfort. The park-like exterior, ample parking, and 60-inch flat screen TVs for video tributes are just a few premium amenities Brookfield provides.

We also have an onsite crematory chapel so your loved one remains in our trusted care.

Did a phenomenal job with my grandfather's celebration of life. Everything was top notch. Handled with dignity, respect, and humor. It was a long day for my family, my relatives, and I. But could not recommend Krause enough. Thank you for everything you did for my friends and family that day. The venue is huge, spacious, and gorgeous. Plenty of room for everyone even for the biggest families. But full attention will be given to you and your family. With help from Krause they made a very tough day a little easier for me and my family.
Krause Funeral Home provided our family outstanding, compassionate and attentive service following the recent passing of our mother. We felt the funeral director and all staff were sympathetic to our situation and were truly interested in getting to know us and what our desires were for the memorial services. They took the time to listen to us and then to suggest and thoroughly explain options that were available. All products, services and costs were clearly explained and left us with the feeling of confidence that we had made the right choices during the planning. All arrangements were beautifully handled. Thank you for an outstanding job that significantly eased our grief and anxiety during this difficult time.
From the very beginning, my experience with Krause Funeral Home was exceptional. On the day the Krause staff arrived to remove my Mom's body, they waited patiently for over an hour for my sister to arrive in town to visit with our Mom. I watched as the Krause staff prepared our Mom's body for removal and you would had thought she was one of their family members. I'll never forget the care at which they handled our Mom before they moved her; it was almost ethereal. From the onset, the Krause staff were kind, compassionate and patient with us as my family and I grieved the loss of my mother while planning her funeral service. Our Mom's funeral service was held at the Krause Funeral Home in Brookfield and the venue is both beautiful and peaceful. I just wanted to recognize Paula, Jim, Elaine, Jeannie, Morgan and the countless other Krause staff members who were always ready to assist with anything that we needed. I highly recommend Krause Funeral Home for anyone looking for exceptional service with your funeral planning needs.
Although we did not have a large ceremony, Krause helped our family grieve and celebrate our parents in a very meaningful way, including assistance with military honors. Their attention to detail, adjusting time to accommodate all so we didn't feel rushed, really brought me and my family a great deal of comfort. I couldn't recommend them more.
I was overwhelmed and anxious about planning my Mom’s funeral services. We had to have her shipped back to Wisconsin as I reside in another State. My sister and I worked with Caitlin and Mike to plan the service. The entire team made it so easy and beautiful from beginning to end. We were more than pleased! Krause went above and beyond what a funeral parlor has ever done. Unfortunately I have gone through too many funerals in our family and none of the other funeral homes even came close to the passion, help, guidance and support as Krause has. Krause even delivered all of the plants, floral arrangements, and picture boards to my home. After the service, that is the last thing you want to worry about. They sent me a picture of all the flowers and plants along with a copy of the card who the beautiful arrangement came from. They also sent me a copy of all the condolences that family and friends wrote on their website. One of the greatest parts of Krause was the funeral celebrant Jeannie. I have received so many compliments on the service she did for my husband. Jeannie truly did a wonderful job and everyone thought she was a family friend because she knew so much of Marks life. When we first sat down with Jeannie she told my daughter and I she had been doing what she loves to do for many years and that she was good at it. That confidence was proven above and beyond what we expected. Jeannie told us that during the service if she had people laughing and had people crying, then she did her job. Well she certainly did just that. All in all I can not thank Krause enough for doing everything possible to help me and my family through this difficult time.
My family has used Krause for the last four relatives who have passed in the last six years. They have always been very accomodating, professional, and very easy to work with.
We lost our legend recently. Our Father succumbed to old age and we had to let him go. Krause handled the details splendidly so we could focus on our guests. From end to end the Krause staff helped us honor a great man. When deciding our course of action with accommodating the family we asked Krause to get us dates that may not work. Like clockwork they responded with ideas to help them make it happen for us. In the summary, it was a beautifully arranged funeral. Our closure was memorable, a truly wonderful way to end our fathers life.

My mom recently passed away and we used Krause for her in church visitation and funeral. They handled so much of the coordinating of the service, visitation and burial that it was nice that the family did not have to think about it or deal with the planning. I answered some questions, picked out a couple things and then they handled the rest. It made a very difficult time in our lives, a little less stressful. Job well done!!
