All right at a time of great despair, Tyler woods funeral director, made it so comfortable to make arrangements make decisions and get everything taken care of that needed to be done. I had never dealt with the loss of a loved one by myself and it was undaunting at best but Tyler really made things easier with his guidance and caring. He treats people just like his family and you can tell when you are in his funeral home that it has so many touches of home that you don't feel uncomfortable. There was a celebration of life that we planned and my husband was cremated and this step two was also made to not seem quite so sad by his easy-going way and politeness and generosity of spirit. I would recommend his funeral home and his personal services to anyone who has lost someone they love, because it's never easy but he will make it less painful in any way that he can.

I first met Tyler after he left his child’s football game to personally meet my father and I when my mother passed. I thought, “He seems nice enough, but who is this guy? I thought there were only three funeral homes in Jefferson City?” I offered to go to the funeral home with my father, sitting down in Tyler’s office in full “offense” mode, ready to tackle any upselling of diamond-crusted titanium urns, or an offer to release 100 rare doves to ensure my mother’s memory would be present for all of eternity. I am delighted to report that the only unfortunate thing about meeting and speaking with Tyler were the circumstances in which we met. Spending time with Tyler to make the arrangements was an extremely easy and fluid process. It felt like I had entrusted a huge, important task to a lifelong friend. He listened to our wishes and performed them perfectly. His only extra offer was his support, available to us at anytime. Navigating your way through grief is messy, wild, and complicated. The only way through it is to find people that you can trust to help you. You can trust Tyler Woods.

Very professional with a family orientated attitude. Tyler and his staff are wonderful kind people that make sure you and your family member are treated with respect and dignity throughout the entire process begining to end. This was my first time having to do anything like this and they walked me through every step and made sure I was completely comfortable when making the final arrangements for my husband. 100% satisfied and I will be using them for myself and other family when the time comes.

No communication my mother passed away over a month ago Tyler still has not given my family an obituary for her, her passing hasn't been announced anywhere. I'm disgusted with this business and I wish I had never allowed her to be taken there. Definitely after seeing the charges brought against Tyler. Definitely do your research before choosing this business.

Tyler answered every question and addressed each concern in a timely manner. Not only was everything taken care of regarding funeral direction a point of contact was provided regarding next steps. The care of my brother was very good—The gentlemen who took him were very honoring—-however the length of time to receive the death certificate was unacceptable—I spoke in frustration and apologize for my quick temper.
