Nice sandy beach. Great for dogs, people, and swimming. The walkway down to the water is not currently complete, so it's pretty straight up and down the sand to get to the beach.
Very steep walk down the dunes to a good stretch for dog play. Note that day parking is $10. Note also there is a bathroom in a small brick building north of the dog area parking lot. Restrooms: There is a bathroom in a small brick building north of the dog area parking lot
Clean beach, just a fun place for the dogs to run and play.
This was our second time at the beach. My dog is still hesitant of swimming but he has a great time digging holes in the sand.
Nice scenic spot that is dog friendly. When I was there ALL of the dogs were very behaved, and the owners were watching them. I felt comfortable being there with my dog. Also, there wasn't any poop on the sand anywhere. Hooray!
The boardwalk is out entirely, so prepare for a freaking climb of your life up those dunes. It’s gorgeous however and the people there are amazingly friendly with a lot of dogs to see and watch play. It was a great place to bring the dog.
Nice beach to take your dog to but the climb was too much for me. Daughter took the dog down the steep sand dune but struggled to come back up. I hope they fix the stairs soon so I can enjoy the beach with my dog also
Lola had so much fun! And the people were all very respectful and friendly. Older dogs may have a problem getting back up the dune! Keep that in mind if you can not carry your dog. Dog-friendliness: Dogs off leash is OK
Love it, the board walk is a good time if you like scenery and Sunsets. Good loop for working out and a nice dog beach too. One of the last hiddenish beaches in the area.
Such a great beach! We were just about the only way ones there and had the beach to ourselves. If you are able-bodied, making it down the dunes and back up should be no problem for you. Me, my boyfriend, and corgi had no significant trouble navigating up and down.
