A noble cause for the advancement, safety and security of our noble ZONGO
Kumasi Metro Area Zongo Association Of North America is an umbrella organization whose membership are primarily made up of people from the various zongo communities in all suburds of Kumasi metro area and Ashanti region as a whole.
Our target is to raise am amount $100,000 within the shortest possible time to help establish a POLICE POST and also to help the community volunteers who are risking thier lives to keep our zongo safe from creminals
HOPE:
It sometimes takes unpleasant crises to stir people towards action and good cause.
We should exploit these unpleasant crises to engageourselves with our zongo affairs and help with its upliftment. If we continue and consistently stick with this contribution after this present project, we should be able to offer scholarships, build libraries and lot more worthy cause for our zongo communities. The success of this first project will hopefully help shape our way of thinking, which is we can do a lot for our communities if we collectively come together.
We are one family of zongo people linked by the same destiny no matter our geographical position in Kumasi Metro area. We are linked through religion, marriages and culture. We are One Large Village (One tree with a lot of branches).
We should not forget the zongos we are creating in the various states and countries we live in and the need to come together to steer our children and youth towards the right direction both morally and professionally.
