Had a really nice lunch here and was surprised by how cool this place looks compared to the surrounding area. I can recommend the Reuben and I was happy they gave us a nice option for special allergy needs. Dietary restrictions: Great for sensitive diets
Amazing food! The service was really great and they have a lot of indoor and outdoor seating to accommodate many guests. The peanut butter pie was insanely divine. We will definitely be going back for more.Food: 5/5
This is the second time I’ve been here and the second time that I have been blown away by this hidden gem. I had prime rib the first time and the ribeye the second. Both were perfect. My wife had two different pasta dishes that she loved as well. This is quickly becoming my favorite spot!Food: 5/5
This is a great casual, yet elevated modern American establishment whose consistent offerings were once known only to the locals of rural Whitestown but have recently earned it much popularity. With such enthusiasm also comes crowds during busy hours, so reservations are recommended. The crowds occasionally also make the main dining room rather loud at dinner, so consider opting to sit on the large outdoor patio, featuring relaxing views of small town life. Parking: Parking spots at the restaurant itself are limited, but there’s an overflow lot across the street.
Was hoping for better. Ambiance was great. They were very crowded on a Wednesday night. So, service was pretty slow. Really disappointed with the food though. Salmon was dry and over cooked and the Mac and cheese was bland. Broccoli was cooked perfectly though. I know things can be hit and miss. We just ended up with a miss on that night.
Staying up the street in an airbnb, here from out of state. Dinner options are great & food was delicious! Adult Drinks were on point! Restaurant is really nice. Staff were all really Friendly & nice, Excellent customer service! Have been here twice so far this week. Will come back, next time nearby.Food: 5/5
We had a wonderful dinner. Our server, Rachel, was attentive, friendly, and helpful. She made the dinner even more pleasant. This was my first trip to LA Cafe, and I would definitely recommend and will return. Thanks for making my birthday celebration even better!Food: 5/5
We came with a party of 6. I had the French onion soup, Parmesan crusted pork tenderloin, mashed potatoes, and mac and cheese. Then the peanut butter pie. The french onion soup was just okay. The favor wasn't strong and just lacked motivation. The pork loin was very salty coming from someone with a high salt tolerance. It had a strong parmesan favor, but that was it. Mashed potatoes & mac and cheese were well made but also lacked any flavor at all. The peanut butter pie might have been the best I've ever had. I highly recommend it. My husband ordered filet and broccoli, and just as my food, it was quite bland. Someone in my party ordered onion rings and they were delicious! The food took a very long time to get out, and no bread was even offered. Luckily, we were a group of friends enjoying each other's company. I would possibly come back, try something else and get a dessert, but if it wasn't drastically better seasoned, I would not go again. Parking: We had to park at a closed business down the road and walk to the restaurant because there was no parking spots anywhere around the building. Very limited on parking space.
My wife and I came here with some friends last weekend. The food and service were both incredible. Great little place to bring friends for dinner when they are in town!Food: 5/5
Very pricey for what you get. Had an appetizer and ended up paying 190.00 for only 4 people. No desserts,! Not a place I'll be returning to. Located in a small country looking town put had the big L.A. city pricing. Food and portions were definitely not worth the price they had on it.Food: 3/5
