LA Fitness Belcrest

This gym is an abomination to the LA Fitness brand. It is terrible. They don’t have enough plates to get a solid set in. It’s almost like they don’t keep track. Their machines are decent but you can’t mess that part up. The floor is messed up under that cushion. You can feel the need for them to shut that sucker down and fix it. Hopefully it doesn’t eventually cave in. The barbells are mismatched like they got it from the Salvation Army. The employees are so very friendly. Also has a good amount of good looking people in there too. The managers need to get fired for their poor mismanagement of that place. Sure they could do so much better. Think they have a solid pool but was too disgusted with the rest of the gym to even try it. A shame that they closed down the one in Greenbelt which was clearly better managed. Go figure.

Terrible I advice everybody that this place is the worse ever equipment never get fix insted there is more equipment broke the membership is more expensive than PlanetFitness

This gym is failed to be cleaned daily. Showers always have the same thingshair, gym, soap from the previous day. The steam room has been down for 5 months & now the sauna is out because they failed to replace the benches. Horrible gym

I enrolled and fell in love with this gym! The staff is excellent. They have really good prices and I never have to wait for machines. Really amazing hours and wonderful facility. 12/10

All I can say is wow !! This has to be the worst la fitness I have ever attended. A lot of equipment was down during my visit. The free weight area was damn near empty. A lot of weights were missing from the racks. I was just merely passing through the area and decided to work out here. I should've just kept going, lol. This gym doesn't have enough barbells for bench presses or squat racks. While I was here, I had to ask someone was this the entirety of the weights they said told me yes bad isn't it it's been like this for years. Thankfully, I won't be coming back to this location.

I think they are on the way to shut the location. Many of the machines are not working. The steam is scheduled to be maintained before a month but it is not maintained. The jacuzzi and the pool are out of service. Even a lots of lights are not working. I highly don’t recommend this place until they have good management. The only good part of their gym is the convenience of transportation.

The reason I put one star is because we have problem with one of our couches. His name is Angelo M. . It’s been several times since we have gone to the gym, and we have noticed that this couch takes all of the dumbbells for himself, and put them in his station, leaving the customers without dumbbells. Sadly, every time a different customer ask him if they can use one of the dumbbells he gets angry with them, and doesn’t share any to them at all, which gives a bad impression to everyone who go to the gym to exercise. We need someone to fix his attitude ASAP. Also, today we told this to the General Manager, and he didn’t do anything at all regarding this, instead he told us that it was prohibited to grab any dumbbells that was in the couches station.

This is probably the worst LA Fitness I found during my travels. Hald the machines were inoperable, the staff are not memorable, the place is messy, the weights don't match, I could go on for days. I recommend finding another gym to use because you won't get a fulll Work out here. Even half the cardio machines don't work. It's time for them to renovate. I will find another LA when I’m In the area.

Truly one of the worst La Fitness gyms in existence. The weights area is inundated with packs of people hogging machines. Basic things like the water fountain has been broken for weeks. Out of order machines everywhere. The staff has to be the most useless bunch of good for nothings ever. One of the staff members with an ugly white Chevy Malibu parks in the handicap spot and could care less. This place is a disgrace and La Fitness should be embarrassed to have their name attached to this gym. Go to Silver Spring and stay away from this dump.

I dont recomend this gym, unless they get a better equipment and better restrooms! 30% of the equipment either broken or lost. They’re “Schedule for service” for like 2-4 months and no repairs.
