Fast and friendly service. Tasty food. Casual clean environment. Parking is ample. The prices are super reasonable. I had menudo which overall isn’t my favorite dish in general but I finished it and enjoyed it. I will have to come back to try other dishes. Give them a try.
I've been going here for 10+ years and I've always really enjoyed the food. The people who work there are really nice, helpful and attentive. I hadn't eaten there for about 2-3 years due to covid and I visited again yesterday and the food was really good! However, some of the items were pretty pricey. For instance a small bowl of guac was $5.50. Just a heads up, the sour cream, which is a $1.25 comes in a condiment package like fast food in ketchup packets also there is a service fee for using a credit card which was $2.25 for me, I think but the MOST ANNOYING THING was they don't tell you about it. I just happened to notice when I was looking over the bill and had to ask what it was for. It's based on how much you spend. HOWEVER that's a small thing compared to all the good which is why they get a 5 star rating from me.
This is one of those places where you have your staples. The chips and salsa are always great spicy, the smothered burrito and rice and beans is my go-to and always satisfies. It’s even better the next day as leftovers! If you get the order of 2, you always can make it into at least two meals.
I went in this afternoon. Hardly anyone in the restaurant. After waiting over 1/2 an hour I decided to leave. The waitress asked what I had ordered again and waves her fingers at me when I tell her. I went up to pay for my Diet Coke and the hostess just sat there and looked at me. After 5 minutes she finally hoisted herself up and was put out that I was standing there. I have been here many times in the past and it was good but I will never go back. I went across the street to Tres Hombres instead. Authentic.
If I could give them a zero I would. I’ve ordered take out on three different occasions and each time my order has been wrong . I left today having to return because my order was wrong again. I explained to the clueless kid in the check out that my order is incorrect, I left with still the wrong order. I JUST GAVE UP!!! people working here are too busy chasing their two and three year old kids and eating in a group instead of taking care of their customers. I have yet to hear an apology from this establishment. Needless to say I will never step foot in this so called restaurant and I’m sure they don’t care.
Food was amazing. The small child running back and forth to the kitchen yelling not so much. The gentleman that was running the cash register could have a better attitude. Wait staff overall was not the best have had better going into this restaurant.Food: 5/5
I got a smothered burrito and the next day I threw up all day. My grandpa also got the same thing and he also got sick. Service was really really slow especially because no one was in there. Employees were nice but I will not be going back.Food: 2/5
Today, I ordered takeout. Chips and salsa, Got home, no salsa. I also ordered my regular "Smothered burrito with cheese, no beans" Got home, burrito had beans in it, and had a side of rice, I did not ask for. I ordered two chile rellenos, beans only on the side. Got no beans, rice only. Could you guys even find a way to get more stuff wrong?!!! Last week, I got beans in my burrito, and onions I did not ask for.
Last time I will eat at this la frontera. Waitress was nice till we paid the bill and decided she deserved a 30% tip. Ignored us after she took our cash and ticket never saw her after thatFood: 4/5
Disappointed. For the 2nd time, no tostada in my large combo. My food was soggy by the time we got home. Ordered and paid for extra Verde and cheese. Not there. But I ordered no tomato’s and got tomato’s. The chips no longer have the spices on them. What the hell happened LaFrontera?? You use to be so good.
