Wow! The pastries are authentic and delicious! If you’re looking for a quant but cozy coffee shop in Santa Monica, THIS IS IT! Morning beverages with a Mexican twist, along with great pastries to fit the part. The Vegan pan dulce was outstanding. I ordered a mollete and the beans were seasoned just right, the cheese added that special zing it was missing! The cake display looked so good I had to take more things home. The staff was delightful but I would recommend adding a tip option for card transactions, they do an amazing job and I would have loved to reward them a little.

Lovely pastries, good service. I recommend the guava tacos and the powdered tea cookies. So rich and sweet and the textures are a wonderful experience. TIP: Parking behind store and also metered parking. Try the Aguascalientes frescos for something refreshing to go with your treats.

This is a nice and small family-owned institution. It serves traditional Mexican food which I found to be fresh and unfamiliar to me. Coffee and breakfast are also served. They're are also plenty of pastries, mostly cases, for takeaway.

I’ve heard good things, but both people in my party who ordered oat lattes were very disappointed, to the point that we visited another coffee shop immediately after. Would love to try the pastries, etc in the future though!

They have a "special " coffee which is delicious! However, employees do not use sanitary measures when serving. Purchase a cup Sunday morning and server literally wiped his unwashed hands all over the rim of the coffee cup; then handed the cup of coffee to me with his unwashed, unloved dirty hand covering the entire lid. No more $5.05 coffee for me. I threw the coffee out and will patronize an establishment with sanitary practices.

They have really good cakes. I have only ordered through ubereats, and wish to go there soon, but their cakes taste different, and look very beautiful. I was looking for a french bakery when I came across them, and so glad I made this. Also on my second order there was a problem with my online order, i called them, and they were super kind and helpful. I don't know about other branches, but this branch is certainly lucky to have these good people working there

Service is good. The cake not so much. Did not have that authentic tress leches flavor

Excellent croissants and a small but great drink menu! Their pastries and quiche are delicious and the atmosphere is quite tranquil even though they're on a busy street! Outdoor seating and a kind staff seal the deal.

Great vibes and service but lacking in flavor. The concha was very dry, the burrito did not have enough filling to justify the price, and the “cinnamon roll” must be a take on it because it was most certainly not a good cinnamon roll. Disappointed.

Okay I absolutely love this location. It is great to sit and have a Mexican coffee, a pastry, and read a book. The staff are so amazing and I have never had a pastry I didn’t like- so fresh and delicious. The coffee is phenomenal! I am recommending this bakery to all my friends
