La Pizzeria Metro

My husband and I love La Pizzeria Metro. We visited the first week it opened a few years ago and hadn’t been back until the start of this summer 2023. It quickly became our favorite pizza spot locally. We love the personal size of the pizzas, and the options available. I am a vegetarian so pizza is a number one option for me. I think the prices are great for the amount of food and the taste. It’s a very nice bar, and the servers are great. We have become regulars and the servers and hosts remember our faces which is really nice to see when you are a local. My husband actually says this place is his favorite pizza around. He gets The Market Street. We will definitely keep coming, and we enjoy the friendly faces. The only draw back can be kids because they can get loud, but that is what it is. Thank you for being a great neighborhood spot. Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options. Parking: There many times isn’t enough parking which can be a deterrent. There also isn’t room to wait inside unless you can get a seat at the bar. Kid-friendliness: Kids are definitely allowed and it can make the ambience very loud. Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp at the back of the restaurant

Very good pizza. The crust is soft and slightly crunchy, perfect to me. Theyvuse use a pizza oven which you can see constantly if you eat inside. Few improvment points: the tomato sauce could be more tasty, it would improve the Margharita pizza. And the butter sauce that is on "The Flats" less on the garlic. you cannot take your beer from the neighboor brewery to that restaurant Vegetarian options: Few dishes without meat. Parking: About 50 spots, crowded when I got there.

You know you are in for a good pizza experience when you can smell roasting garlic in the parking lot. Then when you get inside you see a spread of broccoli rabe, artichokes and roasted peppers alongside the typical pizza toppings by the beautifully tiled wood fired pizza oven. Their description says it all, "traditional pizza with modern day passion". We love this restaurant and are happy to recommend it. Did I mention there is also an outstanding brewery next door?

Wow, the pizza here is to die for! I love how it is freshly made and served to you on the spot. They have a huge variety of different style pizzas it’s hard to choose just one. The service seemed slightly forced, our waitress was also the bartender so she wouldn’t check up on us as much because she was too busy serving the guests at the bar and chatting with some other girls who seemed to be her friends.

A top 3 best pizza spot for authentic Italian brick-oven style pizza. They start with high quality ingredients and it only gets better from there. The brick-oven baked gnocchi is must try. With a varied menu and great mix of pizza creations, as well as build your own pizza option, the choices can surely satisfy everyone in your party. The Margherita is a true classic, the closest you’ll get to true pizza Napoletana in New Castle County. A personal favorite, The Rockford Park is exceptionalI like it without the tomato sauce. I call it The Rockford Park in winter, it’s the one with arugula in the pics Try it, it’s phenomenal. When I’m craving authentic Italian pizza, this is my destination!

Stopped here while on a road trip and wasn’t disappointed! Don’t remember the finer details but both pizzas I ordered were fire. Vegetarian options: Margherita

The service was good. We needed them to remake the meatballs they poured hot sauce over cold meatballs. The pizza we had was goodFood: 4/5

Ordered takeout from here since they don't deliver unfortunately; needless to say the pizza here make is worth the wait. They have a large pizza oven easily able to be seen from the resturaunt side through glass walls separating the kitchen area which is nice. Everything is kept real clean and tidy. Staff is super friendly - not much else to ask for from a resturaunt. The food is amazing and fresh as the pictures show Dietary restrictions: Customizable food options

We went to dinner with friends before an event at the neighboring Wilmington Brew Works. We were served promptly. The staff was friendly and efficient and the manager kept things moving in a calm and respectful manner. We had great appetizers and pizzas and will definitely be back!Food: 5/5

The ambience is really nice, it’s a huge restaurant, hip! I had the wood fire margherita pizza with smoked pork belly. Also cast iron chicken wings. Both entries delicious! My first pizza in Delaware and it’s a 5 starts for me. I do recommend it.
