Mitchell's Ice Cream is our attraction to this building. The facility also has a "Container Store" and some above-average restaurants. Clean and well-maintained. Parking has been sorely disrupted for ~1 year by lot construction, and it's not clear how the work improves anything. Such a long project ought to have a lot to show for it.
It was a pleasant experience for coffee and did some business work!
I visited Ho Wah and Mitchell's. As usual both were wonderful and La Place is a great place to visit. The common areas are clean and roomy.
I went to White Flower Cake Shop in La Plaçe and The Container Store. WFCS has the best cupcakes etc. I usually get mine from the Solon location, but since I was going to Legacy Village after shopping at Beachwood Place, I got some from here. I also had to stop in TCS to see what new products and old products IN NEW COLORS they have. They have some of the most innovative organizational items for every area of a home.
Ate at Asian Chow, my mom said it was the worst food she ever had. I asked the woman if the vegetables were soft or firm, they had no idea what I said and I couldn't understand them. They were totally under cooked. Cost $18.+ pop machine was out of order.
I truly enjoy shopping at the container store but parking is very tight
We came later in the evening, it was well lit in the parking lot. Except when we left to get on cedar, the Beachwood mall did not have so many lights on while leaving from LaPlace. Had to turn on the high beam to see.
Looking forward to the day that the parking situation is resolved... Businesses are hurting
Building and stores are upscale but, Parking garage has been CLOSED OVER A YEAR and was needed for covered and needed for poor weather weather conditions
