Went for a fun Girl thing ages 22-81 and I have to say- not impressed. Because we had 5 people, we got sent to an unappealing back room with terrible florescent lighting. The woman who helped us was condescending and super short with answers. She did not like being questioned and seemed bothered by our existence. We are easy going and polite people. I'm not sure what was going on with her, but it was unpleasant. The painting itself was enjoyable and we had fun, but it could have been so much better without the attitude and some lighting. To be fair, there were other lovely people that did come and check on us and bring us what we needed. I just expected better for the price. Side Note: Having a soaking wet towel to dry your hands on in the bathroom is disgusting.
A nice cozy space to relax, paint and be surrounded with beautiful artwork. It's always a pleasant experience, with a diverse group of customers all sharing a love for the arts.
Lovely lil pottery-paint shop where u can sit down and chill with friends and family to create the coolest stuff. The people are super nice and love to help u learn if you don't know anything, and they're extremely knowledgeable.
Handicap relative could not join because there’s a step at the entrance. Prices seemed fair and we liked the wide selection of pottery options. It was busy and they ran out of smocks. We were required to wait for staff to get paint for us and we used the same dirty water and sponges the whole time. We asked for paper towels and got one regular towel to share between 6 people. We asked for paper to lay down but they told us to just get paint on the table. We asked if we could help clean up but they said we could not and our area got really messy with paint on it and water from sponges. They said we had to wait for them to clean. Our paper with our contact info got wet and they said it was fine instead of allowing us to get a new one so we can be sure they had our contact info. I personally did not like this level of chaos and messiness. They should allow patrons to clean up if they want and give people a new order paper if it gets soaking wet.
Came here for date night with my partner. We came around 4pm on a Saturday and there were multiple places available for us to sit. We ended up staying for almost two hours. We had so much fun painting our pieces! The staff was very helpful and even provided ideas on special techniques and colors we could use. We are excited to see the finished product in about a week!
The staff are so patient, helpful and friendly. There are a lot of ceramic pieces to choose from. My umbrella holder hasn't been glazed, yet, but I thought I'd share it anyway. Have fun!
We have been coming here for many years and never had a bad experience until Friday 7/14/23. Everything started out fine, we were shown to our table, the kids picked out their pieces, etc. One of the kids was in the bathroom when the manager stopped over to explain the different paint and finish options. She said she would wait for the one to return from the bathroom, we very politely told her we've been here many times and she can skip the explanation since it seems to be getting busy. At that moment it was like a switch was flipped. She walked away silently and never returned. When the kids were done with their pieces and had them sprayed, each time she walked over and actually dropped the sprayed piece on the table without a word and walked away. We were very confused as to why she was treating us this way when she was much more polite and pleasant with the other customers. Maybe it's time for a change in management. Other notes: It was a very warm day and only one of the rooms had a working AC unit. The electrical work in the building is down-right dangerous and needs to be updated. It is clear they have put no money into updating anything, the place is a dirty mess most of the time but we put up with it because the kids enjoy it.
Its really fun - have to get there when they open if you like to work quietly, otherwise the spots fill up fast.
I love this place! We always have so much fun
I had an amazing experience for my first time! The service was AMAZING, they are clean and SUPER helpful. SO many options and colors to choice for your project. 10/10 would recommend.
