La Vie en Rose has been established in the city of Brea for over 25 years. The restaurant is in a replica of a French Normandy farmhouse where the atmosphere, service and food cannot be surpassed. A visit to La Vie is like a trip to the French countryside. The owner, Louis Laulhere has put together all the components that meld into a fine restaurant bringing delicacies and recipes from the french country into his menus - offering escargot to homemade pates, french cheeses - soups brimming in puff pastry - entrees deliciously prepared from fresh fish to sirloin of beef with peppercorn sauce. Don"t forget the desserts - all prepared by La Vie's own pastry chef. As Louis always says..."french dining is an event to be savored, shared and enjoyed." Catering: Our Banquet Menus offer a variety of selections which means we can assist in all of your entertaining. Besides the main dining room, private rooms are available for corporate dining, business meetings, cocktail parties & celebrations from Graduations to Bridal Showers to small weddings. Accommodate 10-100 guests. Never a charge for room or linen. Our catering department excels in creating menus perfect for your occasion and we work closely with each client to be sure the function is perfect. Summer Spicher,Banquet Manager,brings her expertise and enthusiasm to each event.
Private Party Facilities: We have several private dining areas - small intimate areas off the main dining room that seat from 6 - 8 guests. Plus, the Lavendar, Wine Room, Colombier and Summer Rooms that can accommodate 20 - 40 people for private functions. The Grand Salon upstairs 100 guests. Our Main Dining Room is available for private affairs Saturday and Sunday afternoons...for up to 60 guests. Each area is appointed with a decor and ambiance of French Country charm.
