The longest wait for blood work I've ever experienced. 2 minute blood draw took 2 hours. Office is not in best condition. For the amount of money they must be making, they can hire some staff and give it a paint job. Pretty bad.
Came with my requisition clearly stating the tests needed for blood and urine. A week later upon getting the results my doc informs me that the lab did not do three of the required tests. They even did a test he did not ask for. He was not impressed and said they clearly don’t know what they’re doing. Now I have to go back and give more blood and urine, all because the lab technician was not paying attention. I’ll update if there are issues, such as making me pay again.
I had to get my blood drawn from a labcorp that my doctor gave me a script for. I googled labcorp and this one had the highest ratings, star wise within a 20 mile radius. The reviews weren’t so good and I was weary but I gave it a chance since I didn’t want to drive to far today. As I entered the establishment was super clean and spacious. They also had hand sanitizer everywhere, which is a plus, given covid. It was 2 other people in there, however, the way the seats are placed, it is more than 7ft away from the next person. We were each checking in at the check in machines. 1 person was finished and was called in right away. I finished checking in and sat down. The second lady went to use the restroom and she was called in next. I was last and my name was called and I went in. I was greeted by such a sweet being Amanda. She was super welcoming and warm. She asked for all my info, I paid and she told me where to go. She was beyond kind and super friendly. Less than 1 minute and I was called in the back to get my blood drawn. I freak out sometimes when I see the needle. Sage was my phlebotomist. She told me take my coat off and my bag and told me I could place it on her counter. I sat, and I made convo to avoid looking at the needle. Sage was SUPER GENTLE. I literally looked at her put the needle in and I DID NIT FEEL IT GO IN. I also didn’t feel it come out. SHE IS BY FAR THE FIRST PERSON TO DRAW MY BLOOD AND ME NOT FEEL A PINCH. Unbelievable!!! The whole thing took all of 5 minutes from when I walked in, checked in, paid and got my blood drawn. THANK YOU AMANDA AND SAGE. I did not make an appointment. I called and the voice recording said you can walk in. They close at 2pm despite what the picture says when you google this location. I highly recommend this labcorp given my experience with the said individuals.
Changes time on their door but not on Google for Saturdays. The ladies are cranky and rude. And the lab technicians don’t know how to draw or find a vein. They put a needle in both arms for both me and my father. And then blame that you’re moving too much not the fact they are swerving the needle around in my arm trying to find a vein when it’s clearly visible. Not properly trained at all. Do not recommend this location!
Ok so I showed up at 7:00 am Saturday and there were 10 people in line waiting outside their website states open Sat. 7 am. But if you listen to their message recording it says opens 7:30 am Saturdays. This is the chris Gaupp Dr. Office. They need to change their office hours shown on when they open to avoid any confusion.
So they change the hours by noting it on the door and the phone message but not the website. Clearly not an intelligent group of people running things. To add to it you have people who check the site and rely on that in terms of hours for going to work or eating or whatever and then open late?!?! Don't they get that people get hangry!?!?!
Everyone working there was either having a bad day as a group or the staff in general is not very friendly, they didn't seem to have any patience for the elderly clients...they are the ones that need it the most : do better
Not always the warmest but sometimes very nice and often quick, efficient, professional and helpful.
Scheduled my appointment online, arrived 15 minutes earlier as requested. I dd the check in online & waited in my car for text that they were ready for me. After receiving text, I walked into the most chaotic waiting area. I've been to this office before & don't remember having this feeling before. The amount of people in the waiting area exceeded the wait area, checked in with person at desk. Was sent to wait in a narrow hallway with 7 to 8 other people in this cramped area. Then got called back to room #2 ; they don't give you any privacy. They had more people waiting directly across from the exam area. The room was wide open, no door or curtain closed. The stranger seated against the wall watched as they drew blood. First tech was unable to get a vein, no idea why she fished around with the needle still in my arm. My arm is darkly bruised today.. I was relieved because she didn't try to stick me again. The second tech succeeded immediately, I barely felt the needle unlike the first tech. In all fairness to the 1st tech, I have always been a hard stick & she did right y not to keep trying. But having a stranger watch is mainly why I am not happy & the chaotic over crowed conditions in the office has left me considering my options for next time & unfortunately there is always a next time. :
My first time visiting this location was okay, the checkin and wait was quick and easy, but the women had a tough time finding my veins which is not uncommon as i've been told for years my veins are very deep. My second time I had the same check in and wait experience but the women who drew my blood, Evie, was absolutely amazing. As stated previously my veins are very deep and can be hard to find, but she had absolutely no problem finding a good vein on the first try! I highly recommend seeing her for your future bloodwork needs!!
