Really cool museum with a nice outside area with free art sculptures. I didn’t go inside the art museum but I walked around for the outdoors portion. The streetlights piece was really cool and the best place to take photos and look around. It’s also near a nice outdoor mall called the Grove which is great for dinner and just a night out. There’s also a movie theater there
I heard about these lights and seen photos in social media, they called it “Urban Lights.” So when we were out and about in LA we went to see them. To some it may just be a bunch of lamp post but to me it’s a beautiful street display. You can take a great photo wherever you stand and to me every angle is great! Day or night you can produce an awesome photo. When I was here there were people taking graduation photos. If you come at the right time without anyone here, you can probably take wedding photographs that is an assumption. Anyway, if you’re in LA and looking for a little photo spot this is one to go to. These lights is outside next to Los Angeles museum. I don’t think they are connected. There is no fee to look at these light or to take photos at the site. But I do know there is a fee to get in to the museum. We didn’t do the museum, because we came near closing time. Also we parked on the street, there were meter parking on the side where we parked, we were lucky to find one. The only negative is there could be a lot of people at times so you just have to find your photo “spot.”
Great museum with amazing exhibits. Highly recommend checking out metropolis and the garage. The garage has a digital queue to get in so I recommend going there first to scan the qr code and get in line, and then exploring the rest of the exhibits while you wait in line.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitPrice for adult entry$11–15
I've always wanted to get my photo in front of the light poles here at the museum. My partner brought me here this afternoon and we had a really good time. The cost was $25 per person outside of LA COUNTY They also had other museums and food options at this location. I would recommend checking it out. Give yourself a couple hours to explore.
This gallery is definitely worth a visit, offering a captivating experience. However, I would highly recommend purchasing tickets in advance and carefully selecting the exhibition you wish to explore. The expansive and awe-inspiring space is dedicated to modern and new art, with certain pieces that provoke contemplation on the nature of reality. Overall, it's an enjoyable visit.
The museum has a great space and fabulous exhibits. It is a pay museum, but it is worth it for anyone who likes contemporary art. When I visited, I also saw a class of students engaged in art. The exhibits are changing frequently.
Enjoyed the breath of modern art exhibits, curated early 21st century but expected more for the most expensive museum we visited. If you love Picasso you'll be happier than we were. Children loved the cars however and staff extremely and don't miss the garage.
An ever changing rotation of artists work comes through here. At the same time the stuff that is always there is so good it sticks with you for a while. This is a world class museum and we are lucky to have it in LA. This is a perfect day dste spot.
Love it and hate it. It's a very beautiful location but when we came at 10pm, it was packed with people. It was a Thursday. It is a very beautiful location, if your photographer is quick you will get some nice shots
I really loved this museum. It’s art all around. It’s well curated art, all the buildings are worth it. The parking is very comfortable. They have elevators to go up and down frequently. One of the greatest things to share is that as a Bank of America cards holder, 25$ tickets was for free. Definitely recommended see the images! #art #LA
